It is also available as a separate download for Python versions < 1.6.Please see the information on the Distutils-SIG home page:http://www.python.org/sigs/distutils-sig/for more information.There is no question that the Python documentation about "Extending andEmbedding the Python Interpreter" needs to be updated.
