The Hu Hotel has a fantastic location right in downtown Memphis, making it easy to walk to Beale Street and other attractions. The rooftop bar offers stunning views of the Mississippi River, perfect for a drink while watching the sunset. However, the pillows and bed were incredibly uncomfortable, making sleep difficult. Also, I noticed that there were parking issues. I got booted for parking in the wrong area, despite being told I could park anywhere. It felt disorganized. The room was clean but lacked some basic amenities like a microwave. The staff was friendly, but their knowledge of parking rules could use improvement. The breakfast selection was limited for the price. A little more attention to detail on maintenance and staff training would really elevate this hotel experience.

We hit Graceland and soaked up the blues on Beale Street. The rooftop bar had amazing views, and the rooms were comfy. The location made it easy to walk everywhere. Definitely worth it!
We heard a constant buzzing in our room that was pretty annoying, had to use a fan to drown it out.

The view from my room was stunning and the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making me feel right at home. However, the carpets were quite stained, and the room had a lingering odor of smoke, which was disappointing. The rooftop bar was definitely a highlight though!

I really appreciated how close I was to Beale Street, just a short stroll away, and being able to visit the National Civil Rights Museum, which is a significant landmark, made my weekend so enriching and enjoyable.

Charming atmosphere with great rooftop views
I stayed in a Junior Suite for 7 nights and absolutely loved the charming decor and stylish design of the room. The rooftop bar was a perfect spot to unwind with breathtaking views of the city, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. One area for improvement would be the breakfast options, which could use some additional variety.
