Lucky Newt Games
Hello! I'm Laura (she/her), one half of Lucky Newt Games. Our games are family-friendly and designed to promote equity. So we offer you the Lucky Newt Promise:
- They are family friendly. If nothing else, there will always be enough control over the theme that you can be comfortable playing them around or with little ones*.
- They are all inclusive. None of our games promote hatred or violence towards any protected class of peoples.
- Most are covered under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license, so if you see anything you would like to hack, just be sure to give credit where credit's due and if it's not too much trouble, maybe a link back to the game that inspired yours. We're currently in the process of updating the licensing on all our games.
- They are created to be:
- light-hearted and fun
- provide comfort
- make people stop and think about the world around them, their relationships with others, or themselves
- some combination thereof.
*There might be a meditative game or two that you'll want to be in a calm, quiet place for.
