Discovered 1879 Oct. 13 by C. H. F. Peters at Clinton.

Named after one of the Sabines carried away by the Romans. She was given and married to Romulus. After death she was deified by Juno {see planet(3)} and became Hora, a goddess of beauty. (H 25)
