There are several meanings known in classical mythology. After Aeschylus, Sophocles and Euripides, Electra was the daughter of Agamemnon and Clytemnestra {see, respectively, planets(911) and(179)} and sister of Orestes, Iphigenia {see planet(112)}, and Chrysothemis
{see planet(637)}. Electra incited her brother Orestes to avenge their father’s murder by killing their mother and her lover Aegisthus. (Z 92)
