Abstract

In this chapter, we examine the properties of topological spaces that can be transferred from one space to any other homeomorphic space. Such properties are called topological. The most important ones are connectivity, separation, and compactness. The first two are discussed in this chapter, and the last one is discussed in the next chapter.
