Abstract

What explains the persistence of Kurdish question and the constant struggle of the Kurds under Ba’athist rule? This chapter draws on the work of prominent theorists Immanuel Kant and John Locke to offer insights into the deleterious impact of the Ba’ath regime’s approach to solving Iraq’s Kurdish “problem.”
