Synopsis
This chapter outlines how various worldviews and their related values, religious and non-religious, colonise cognitive states within the mind. They motivate our actions through life’s uncertainties giving us the faith to overcome challenges and the hope to succeed. Aspirational leadership can unify diverse worldview motivation among stakeholders to achieve company goals when there is coherence of common values and informed tolerance and respect for disparities. The role of leaders is to nurture these values in a culture that empowers stakeholders to achieve meaning through the autonomous creativity of their actions, uniting their efforts, making each one of them feel the inclusivity of ‘company identity’ that transcends their other identity roles.
