Abstract
Now we will apply the machinery of bases and frames to analyze specific types of sequences that arise in many situations in applied harmonic analysis and other areas. This chapter focuses on sequences closely related to the trigonometric system, which forms an orthonormal basis, while Chapter 11 is devoted to Gabor systems and Chapter 12 to wavelets.
