In the viral video, DJ Chicken was seen stripped down to a blood-soaked singlet and his pants. Onlookers could be heard accusing him of nearly killing the motorcyclists and showing no remorse for his actions.
As some residents hit him, others advised that he be handed over to the police. There were also allegations from the crowd that the DJ was under the influence of hard drugs at the time.

According to statement, the initial crash resulted in injuries to two individuals. It was also stated that DJ Chicken attempted to flee the scene, which directly provoked the mob attack.
On Sunday, DJ Chicken was reportedly involved in another serious crash, this time in the Lekki area of Lagos. Reports and another social media video suggested he crashed his exotic vehicle in an incident that nearly harmed pedestrians.

The Ogun state ministry of justice stated it has reviewed the circumstances of the Sagamu crash, taking note of the medical care, privacy, and recovery of the victims.
The state government emphasised that DJ Chicken’s attempt to flee the scene and his quick return to the wheel with no apparent regard for public safety made state intervention imperative.
“Yesterday’s incident is reportedly the third road crash in two months involving Mr Abiodun at the wheel,” the statement reads.
“While it may be reasonable to allow crash victims get compensation from persons who have driven recklessly and to resolve road traffic collisions as a civil wrong, some road users are special dangers to society and should be held to account under criminal law.
“Mr Abiodun is one such person. At least two of the crashes were documented in real time video coverage and are self-evident.”
Oluwasina Ogungbade, the attorney general of the state, also directed relevant officers to expedite action on the pending case from the Sagamu crash for prompt arraignment.
