Story
The story for this game revolves around our protagonist Uesugi Takaya. He’s a complte house-husband who lives with his little sister Akeno and his father, who works away quite a lot. His mother died when he was little. He regularly attends school with his childhood friend and classmate Nazuki. This year he’s decided that he wants to join the student council. The student council president is Miyabi and she accepts his application. It turns out that his father is remarrying and his new wife has a daughter. It turns out that she’s Miyabi but she acts completely different at home! In the lead up to summer this year, will Takaya be able to get close to and see the other sides to the girls around him?
Well, this game tries to explore the possibility of characters having more than one side to their personality. I thought that this idea was quite interesting at first because i know that i show different sides of my personality to different people and i thought that this would make the characters more realistic. Now, unfortunately, i think Aries may have failed a little bit in heir execution of their idea since, let’s be frank, they are trying to make a big show about 2 different sides to the girls but the only believable personality change is Miyabi (with her being cool, calm and collected at school and actually being the opposite at home). Akeno goes from cold imouto at school to bracon imouto at home ( i think they took this too far – i mean being in love with her brother shoudn’t make up the most of her personality) . I personally couldn’t really notice such a big shift in the other characters, which is weird really since this is supposed to be themain concept of the game.
Oh well, all that being said, the story in the game is pretty average. The common route was quite fun and i laughed a couple of times. The character routes are a bit of a mixed bag though.Kanna’s route were my favourite, Miyabi’s was pretty good, Akeno’s was standard imouto route fair and Nazuki’s was awful. But then again, that ranking is exactly the same as my character ranking so, with all chara-ges, the more you like the character, the more you’ll probably enjoy the route.
Characters
Amahara Miyabi
Miyabi is the student council president of Tamagawa Gakuen. She’s also the classmate and soon-to-be stepsister of Takaya. At school, she appears to be “perfect” and a lot of students (Takaya included) admire her. At home, she’s not perfect and is infact quite lazy, irritable and hopeless at doing any kind of household task.
I went into this game thinking that Miyabi would be the main heroine and i suppose that she is – well, at least she has 2 personalities! I really liked the contrast between her 2 sides and also how, when she grew closer to Takaya, she allowed him to see her true side even at school. The main point in her story is her lack of confidence and her fears that she’s not good enough for Takaya to love her and such. I must say that her dere side is adorable and i adored her ways of trying to confess her feelings. It was easily one of my favourite scenes in the game!
Uesugi Akeno
Akeno is Takaya’sblood related imouto who is 1 year younger than him. She’s the star of the school basketball team and is overly cruel to her brother in school. However, as soon as they get home, she shows her true feelings and dotes in him a lot since she’snot so secretly got feelings for him.
Yeah, she’s almost a tsundere, although the cold side is only an act so she doesn’t count. Umm, i wasn’t really a big fan of Akeno, although i know some people might be. She is genuinely blood related though (something that doesn’t happen in most eroge).
Tomiya Nazuki
Nazuki is Takaya’s childhood friend and classmate, they’ve been friends ever since they were in elementary school when Takaya stopped some bullys picking on her. She’s a bit of an airhead and also gets easily embarassed. The necklace she wears refers to a 3-leaf clover Takaya gave her once. She alsonot so secretly has feelings for Takaya.
Well, to be honest, Nazuki is a bit of an overly-generic childhood friend and her route sucked so i didn’t really like her. The 3 leaf clover thing was super cute but that was about it. Her character design is just adorable though.
Narugasaki Kanna
Kanna is a transfer student to Takaya’s class although he actually meets her a few days beforehand when he bumps into and spills his ice-cream on her. It turns out that she’s the miko at the local shrine and that her parents work away a lot. She’s also pretty shy.
Kanna was by far my favourite character in the game. She’s so darn moe! Her route was also about character growth and trying to overcome her shy-ness. What i really liked about her route was the fact that there was not a H-scene straight after her confession scene and that the characters actualy went on some dates and seemed to spend a lot of time together. Kanna herself is just so adorable –Hau Omochikaeri!!!
Artwork
My main problem with the artowork in this game is the fact that it’s so inconsistent, The artwork for Kanna and Miyabi was generally fine, although there were a few problems but the other two girls had really dodgy stuff. However, i must commend the artists for making the girls look unique with the use of accessories – you don’t always see this in eroge. The backgrounds were alright too – some were definitely better than others though and sometimes, during an afternoon scene, the background just looks like a sepia colour filter has been added. Lazy? Definitely. The character sprites were alright, although Nazuki’s looked more like promo art or something? I mean, you just wouldn’t stand in either of her poses for too long. I would also like o mention that the characters all had long hair and large chests (although they’re not at Clochette level yet), the excuse given for this is that this is what the protagonist likes most. Isn’t that handy?
One thing is must point out though is the amount of suggestive and NSFW cgs there are compared with SFW ones. I’m not even talking about the H scens now. This game does use a lot of ecchi scenes. I mean normally there’s 2 or 3 per game. You know, the usual – walking in on someone getting changed, swimsuits falling off, ect… But this game has 2 or 3 scenes per heroine! I wasn’t really a big fan of this so i shall say that the game needed more SFW scenes!
Music
Song: Knowing – Marika
I am in love with that opening song – it’s so pretty! Definitely one of my favourites this year. The BGM of the game was generally very good, i liked that there was quite a few piano pieces. The ending songs, however, weren’t anything special, which was a bit of a disappointment. Kanna’s was my favourite.
The voice actors did a really good job though, i liked all the voices (especially Kanna’s) and i felt that they fit all the characters well, especially when they had to deal with the switches in character in Miyabi’s and Akeno’s cases). This was probably one of the best sections of the game.

Title screen
The title screen was pretty standard, although, i do like the promo image used. Why is the promo art for this game so much better than the actual art?!
Save/Load
This was also pretty standard. As you may be able to tell, i started this game ages ago but i couldn’t be bothered finishing it. I will admit that i’ve played Kanna’s route twice though.
Textbox
I thought the textbox was quite pretty although i kept forgetting that right clicking brings up the backlog, not removing the textbox. Yeah, the icons at the bottom are quite good and it’s definitely simple to use.

Conclusion
Well, simply put, if you like long haired girls with large chests then play this game. Otherwise, i’m sure there’s better chara-ges out there. I can’t say that i was overly impressed with this game but it was alright as something light to play. However, i will say that this was better than Aries’ 2nd game – trouble@spiral so surely, as long as Aries continue to improve their games then i can’t really complain. 🙂
P.S. Kanna is mine! And she’s probably another reason to play this game.

I guess the idea of 2 different personalities in one person is big enough for one route/love interes but all of them? That must be so chaotic.
The sad part is I think Uesugi Akeno is the most sexy person of them all…WEIRD

And yeah, Aries’ base character design is fine, but the promo art looked fine while the in game art looked like a 180.
And a big imouto is a rather rare thing.

And I’ve long since stopped wishing for SFW CG’s and started embracing the NSFW goodness instead.
