Computing Hardware

The computing hardware in the GIS Center has will have 12Maingear workstations with the following specificatoins

• Intel Core Ultra 9 285K (24 Cores | 24 Threads | 5.7GHz Boost)
• NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER (10,240 CUDA Cores | 16GB GDDRX)
• 64GB T-FORCE DELTA RGB (DDR5 | 6400MHz | 2x32GB)
• 2TB T-FORCE A440.
• Workstations are equipped with larged curved display for superior visualization
• Height adjustable desks for seated or standing 

Software

GIS software including ArcGIS and QGIS are installed on all machines with regular updates. Other programs including R and Microsoft Office are installed for our users. The GIS lab will also has private consultation area for focused group work and project work.
