Who can take part?

You must be at least the age of majority in your country, state, province, or jurisdiction of residence at the time of entry;
This challenge is open globally, but with exceptions (see the question below),
Employees of Snap Inc. and Lenslist (both Lenslist and Lens That) and their immediate family are not eligible to participate,

Residents of which countries can NOT take part?

Individuals who are residents of, or entities/organizations domiciled in countries noted in the EU list of non-cooperative jurisdictions: American Samoa, Anguilla, Dominica, Fiji, Guam, Palau, Panama, Samoa, Trinidad and Tobago, US Virgin Islands, Vanuatu, Seychelles, as well as any country that is not under any trade or economic sanction or on any program or country list designated by the United States Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control, or where the laws of the United States or local law prohibits their participation or receipt a prize in any contest and specifically excludes Russia, Belarus, Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions of Ukraine, Cuba, North Korea, Iran, and Syria.

How to take part?

If you haven't created a Snapchat Lens yet, first -download Lens Studio. Then, read our Terms and Conditions and register using the form below and go straight to Lens Studio to create your Lens. Once it's ready, select the Challenge tag when publishing your Lens to Snapchat.

Which Lenses are not eligible for this challenge?

Simple color filters/styles applied to the camera
Basic beautification/saturation/sharpness modifiers
Static 2D images with limited user interaction
Frames and collages that apply a 2D border or text around the camera
Easily repeatable characteristics and/or copies of other Lenses

Do I need to have a Snapchat account?

Yes, you need an active Snapchat account to create and publish your Lens and to take part in this Lensathon.

Is there any Submission Fee to take part in the contest?

There is no submission fee, you can take part free of charge.

Will I receive confirmation that my Lens has been submitted correctly?

As long as your Lens has the "Humor Challenge" tag on it, you are entered into the contest. The Challenge Tag becomes available to you within 48 hours of registering for the contest.

What if I registered for the challenge on 1/31 and don’t see the tag until the next month?

You will have a couple of days after the contest closes to still tag your Lens.

Can I tag older Lenses?

Please DO NOT tag Lenses that are not related to the competition, and do not tag Lenses that are not newly created for this competition.

Can I create, publish, and tag my Lens before registering for the Challenge?

Unfortunately, you will not have access to the Challenge Tag until you have registered for the contest on the Lenslist site below, and you have waited the 48 hour period for us to add the tag to your account.

Who should I contact to ask about or confirm if my Lens has been submitted correctly?

Be sure you applied the Challenge Tag from My Lenses to your published Lens. If you feel there has been a mistake, please email[email protected].
