Hello folks!
This week we take a sneak peek at the everyday interactions between the surface-dwellers in SAMUDRA.

"Say what you mean, but don't say it mean." Remember to always stay courteous even when expressing your displeasure towards something or somebody, especially in emotional situations - no task is too important that it justifies disrespecting or harming someone else.
Sadly I feel that oftentimes amidst the hustle and bustle of the everyday worldly things, these values get pushed aside. For example, as some of you may have already seen recently - there is a documentary titled "Seaspiracy" that highlights the sheer greediness of human nature, the film opens with an environmental issue that covers plastic pollution, to illegal whaling practices, this gradually deepens into the corruption and complicated web of overfishing issues, and eventually ended up with the heart-wrenching issues of slavery. My eyes were glued even though my brain was stressed out and I had to hold the urge to look away from what's shown on the screen, but I knew I had to understand this more, this is only the tip of the iceberg. So I implore you to look this up or just read about this issue, rethink our daily consumptions of seafood, and our carbon footprint. No task is too important that it justifies disrespecting or harming someone else.
