Named for Natalia Twersky, a champion of Jewish education and the mother of JWA's founding director, Gail Twersky Reimer, the Twersky Education Fellowship brings JWA’s teaching materials to a broad audience of educators and learners alike.
Since 1996, JWA has offered globally recognized teaching resources, including lesson plans, encyclopedia entries, and in-depth articles highlighting Jewish women's lives and voices. The Twersky Education Fellow is dedicated to making these resources accessible to all, including teachers and learners at every stage of life. Learn more about the Fellowship.
Are you an educator who is passionate about Judaism, feminism, and public history? Would you like the opportunity to work with an award-winning organization to bring your ideas to life? Find out more about applying for JWA’s Twersky Education Fellowship.
From 2012-2018, JWA presented the Natalia Twersky Educator Award to educators who used primary sources creatively to integrate Jewish women’s stories into their teaching. Learn about the winners and finalists.
