Together, we will draw inspiration from Jewish women of yesterday and today to explore the complexities of our own lives. By engaging deeply with these women's stories, we will access language for what we love, what we fear, and what we value. Whether you are a seasoned writer or eager to try something new, this course will guide you in discovering your unique voice to free the writer within each of us.
The course will include short readings, discussion, writing prompts, and opportunities to share your writing during the sessions. (Please note: your writing will not be read or reviewed by the instructors.)

HOSTS
Judith Rosenbaum (she/her) is CEO of the Jewish Women's Archive. Judith earned a PhD in American Studies from Brown University, with a focus on women, gender, and social movements. As a Fulbright Fellow, she studied women’s collective communities in Israel. An educator, historian, and writer, she teaches, lectures, and publishes widely on Jewish studies and women’s studies.
Jordan Namerow(she/her) is a feminist writer, strategic communications professional, and facilitator. With nearly 20 years of experience, she is passionate about helping teams and leaders deepen their impact at the nexus of storytelling and social change. Much of her work centers on helping women, girls, and LGBTQ people elevate their voices and claim their power to make the world more equitable for everyone. A graduate of Wellesley College and Columbia University, Jordan is the author of the children’s bookLike the Sea and the Sky: A Mysterious Mollusk and Its Magical Blue Ink(Brandylane 2023) and lives in Boston with her family.
