Jennifer Lang is a San Francisco Bay Area transplant in Tel Aviv. In September 2023, she gave birth to her first book, Places We Left Behind: a memoir-in-miniature; in October 2024, she welcomed Landed: A yogi’s memoir in pieces & poses into a different world. Both books are unconventional, very Jewish, Israel-centric, and true. Her writing focuses on identity, voice, faith, belonging, and home. A graduate of Vermont College of Fine Arts, Jennifer was an Assistant Editor at Brevity Journal for years.
