- PLACENAME: Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park is located in San Dimas, CA. The park includes a 250 acre lake, which Bonelli had supported the creation of during his time as County Supervisor.
- LEGISLATION:Sponsor of the "Bonelli Plan" (Proposition 15 of 1960) which would have divided the State Senate on a North/South basis (theMayo/Breed line), giving 20 Senate seats to the 13 southern counties and the 20 other seats to the 47 northern counties.
- LEGISLATION:Author of AB 109 (1957) which would have established "In God We Trust" as California's state motto. The measure passed the Assembly without opposition but died on the Senate Floor (vote was 7-20). [For more information]
