Playing on a new-ish android, can't get the game to stay open for more than a second, tried just about every fix, pretty disappointing. 

Sorry to hear you had troubles with the Android build! Since this build was made back in 2020, it's likely this might be an issue with more recent versions of Android.

Unfortunately, we're unable to update the existing version of the game for various reasons. We have been working on a ground-up remaster of Beek based on new code and gameplay systems, but it'll likely be a few more months until that's finished.

In the meantime, we'd recommend using the PC/Mac version, waiting for the remaster update, or seeking out a refund from itchio. We'll do our best to resolve this in the future!
