I'm an independent creator currently developing a game called Lilith’s House — a Game Boy-style project with a strong visual identity, a unique atmosphere, and a creative approach. Although I’m not a well-known developer, I truly believe my game stands out and could resonate with your community.
I've noticed that some games are randomly featured on the itch.io homepage, often from established studios like Sokpop or Punkcake Délicieux. So I’d like to ask: is it possible for lesser-known creators like myself to also be considered for homepage visibility, or is that space reserved for popular developers only?
I would be truly grateful if you could consider adding Lilith’s House to your homepage selection. I’m confident the game offers something fresh, original, and engaging for players browsing your platform.

Hello technical support. My game was listed as one of the new games selected by itchio, but 5 days later it was removed.
I thought there must be something I'd done wrong, but I don't know what exactly. I checked until I realised it must be because I hadn't indicated that my game was NSFW.
So I redid the game and uploaded the new NSFW-free version today and I really hope that the moderator who tagged it NSFW can remove it and why not put my game back on itch.io's playlist of selected new games.
You can't imagine the joy I felt for the very first time in my life when my first real game was selected, but how sad to see myself removed from the selection when other NSFW games are there!
I sent an email to support with my ticket ID (269540). For any help.

The goal is of course to get physical distribution, but I have to go through a publisher, and it's much better if a publisher spots the game and sees potential in it. If I ever find a publisher, why not?
