Weight Of Water!

Very interesting horror game with a good story to it and a lot of extra details as you piece together about the character through messages from friends and family.

Game had a good atmosphere, not needing to use jump scares, just tension of the moment and letting the story and events build.

Seeing how the character working through their personal issues while their job is helping others do the same, found it interesting.

Hit my uncomfortable feeling of my phone blowing up and just going "no thanks" haha

Overall, this was a pretty chill, in the since that you are constantly under a chase by something or blasted with scares, horror game that looks great, has a great story and uses the environment and atmosphere to give that uneasy feeling until everything starts to shift for the character.

Good job zubanzio, for your first game you are off to a great start and thank you for reaching out! Looked forward to your future projects!

Dead Tapes: Faded Father!

Overall, really liked this game. Story, sad, made me feel things, as you see the reasons and break down of the family.

Had some good jumpscares, does not blast you them over and over but had some well placed ones.

Did well with the atmosphere and keeping it tense at points where you knew something had to be behind that door or down the hallway.

Those commercials, unsettling haha

No issues playing, looked good, but would have just ate the pizza as is.

Being a small team of two and stumbling into this game, finished and was impressed, well done Nektogone!

Looking forward to your next project!

Always excited to see something posted by Niven!

Fun little horror game, got me with some panic scares, kept me on my toes, expecting something to hit me with every photo, so had some good tension!

Looking forward to your future projects Niven! What you craft in a couple days is always fun and entertaining with some good scares! Excited to see what you make with your longer projects!

Clown Is Hungry! Demo is a fun play! Excited for the full version! Had some scares from our friendly hungry clown, jokes were fun, loved finding random items laying around to see what the slices would look like, maybe give me some idea to try for my own pizza! Overall, great demo and its going to be a fun one when fully released! Would 100% break the cosmic cheese button again!

Great Job Vidas!

Digging Hours! A short horror game about helping your friend dig up some bodies!

What are friends for?

Pretty good horror game, voice acting was fun, got me with a scare, twist with the story, ran smoothly and looked pretty good.

Overall, had fun playing

Good Job Vuk Dobric! Got "A Quiet Place" on my list to play, looks entertaining!

Huntsman!

What in intense sneak around horror with a spider with the most terrifying footsteps!

Feeling like your safe and then *thumpthumpthump*

Was a lot of fun, stressful at times, chill in the safe spots and panic when web walls kept popping up.

Spooder was awesome, still want to put it outside, still don't know what to do when it sees you beside panic and try to pet it but its fine.

We do make it out alive!

Great job OnTheHouse Gaming!

Night Knocks!

A short horror game about moving into your new apartment with an very annoying neighbor, game had some scares of the jump variety, easy to play, able to be silly and spawn a lot of items (a personal joy of mine) overall, a good time playing! We ending up finding all the endings!

Great Job KeeraGames!

As a long time player, I never had any issues with your games or proc'ing any warning or threats for people looking at playing your games.
Your games are amazing, fun to play and always a good time.
I hope at some point, Itch.io gets their crap together and does something or addressing the issue.
Where ever you end up next, crafting new projects or on a new platform, always wish the best, you create awesome games and hope things work out for you.

Hollow Sight! Another fantastic game by Apish Box Games! (Niven)

Game was fun, had some silly moments, some scares and an interesting little analog horror type of story.

The atmosphere and environment was interesting, loved the weird angles of the towns features, I will always love the type of voices used in this game.

That damn lady!

Had a great time playing and as always, great job Apish Box Games!

Red Finger! Always love seeing when KenForest drops a game! Never played White Knuckle but know of it and can see where the hand mechanic is inspired. Had fun playing, got me with a scare, easy to figure out as you play with the stress of balancing your finger pain vs what could end up popping out. Liked the atmosphere and the look of the game. The thing that pops up, thought it looked pretty cool. Be interesting if more of what you are doing was added and maybe some more dangers to increase the paranoia and worry about needing to keep your hands clean but over all, had fun playing!

Great Job KenForest!

In The Pines! A short horror game about checking a house you will try to flip in the future!

Not a bad little horror game, got me with some scares, I do not agree with the characters choices while exploring the house but its fine haha

Enjoyed how it looked and visuals throughout the game, had a pretty good eerie atmosphere and while some spots were really dark at points, helped set up for the unknown.

I had guess about the end haha

Music was awesome!

For a first "real" game, did great and looking forward to see what you craft next

Good Job Brain Goodway!

My Dear Sheep!

A very short little horror game about taking care of some sheep!

You pet them and they baaaaaa, you feed them, jam out to some music and go to bed...

Game was, to me, cute, made me laugh a little and enjoyed when we hit the horror events, jumpscare got me (not trying to spoil)

10/10 It was a short journey but enjoyed the friend I made on the way!

Good Job Must!

Welcome To Elderfield! (Demo)

Do you like Stardew Valley style of games and wish you could find one with some horror elements, lovecraftian like themes and a rad soundtrack?

I definitely do and this game blends it all together very well!

All the characters have been very interesting with options to befriend some. News Casts are fun and add some extra spookiness to each day with special events. People talking about removing and wearing their skin, 10/10. Combat is very turn based RPG which was pretty cool, with leveling, equipment, stats and such. Your neighbor is a talking cat! Horror elements come from strange events, monsters. entities, local urban legends and some jokes.

I have not fully deep dived into this yet but so many amazing things I encountered within the hour I played, highly recommend checking out this demo at least if you are into these style of games.

Great Job and looking forward to the full release!

SPARE!

Another great game by Niven (Apish Box Games)

Game took a turn I was not expecting and was silly, loved it!

Quick idea, dude stops to get snacks, get wrapped up in an urban legend and now has to escape.

Game ran smoothly, combat was easy and not complicated, the entity was hilarious and fun, got me with with a few jumpscares.

Overall, a good time!

Great Job Niven!

As always, looking forward to your next game!

Bobo Tea Shop! (Demo)

A horror game about Risa opening their own Boba Tea Shop!

It was pretty cool, very simple at this moment with the options but once the full release happens, can see where the orders will get completed haha

Was pretty eerie at points, hit me with a scare from the last minute customer haha The waiting and unable to see who is walking in added some anxiety knowing it is a horror game.

A good start, love these shop owning horror games so was instantly drawn to it, love to see what else will be added, what "ghosts" will arrive, maybe some crazy requests, opinions pending costumer questions

Good Job Mike Ten! Good Luck As You Craft This!

House Of Necrosis! (Demo)

Walked in and did not know what to fully expect, left excited for a full release

It makes me thing, what if you crossed the first RE1 with a game like Azure Dream, where every step you take or action is a turn and draws monsters closer, makes for some interesting planning and combos

The game has some rogue elements, returning home and resets, repeating and growing until you have enough resources and ability for the next level

The first person view, very interesting touch.

Zombies were cool, the hounds... they suck haha (to fight) so many crows! It looks and feels like I am playing a game form back in those days, nailed the old 90s 32bit look!

I didn't make too much progress on going up levels but the first boss bottle I found, terrifying and know it would murder me so quick!

Overall, excited for the full release, it was a blast to play, easy to get addicted to and want to see what the higher levels hold

Great Job Warkus! Good luck With You House Building!

Salt!

A short horror game about your weird neighbor asking you for some salt after you got home.

Pretty simple, you do the things, sometimes the timing between dialogue was a little long unless they were really trying for that awkward silent pause.

Small apartment horror games can get to me a little more, so this one did get under my skin a few times with some chills and did manage to hit me with a jumpscare or two.

Enjoyed not knowing what the neighbor was doing until you go deliver the salt, so with that, thought as least the story was interesting and would like to know more about the neighbor and everything going on with them.

Overall, had a good time playing, gave me chills a few times, liked when you delivered the salt, would argue with my brain again!

And DESPITE the game not allowing me to pet the cat, I will not rate 0/5 stars haha!

Good Job KayroX!

The Looked Like Us!

Always enjoy these kind of games, emergency broadcast and dealing with it haha, had fun playing, was pretty creepy, got me with a scare, good build up, loved the warning, overall, had a great time!

Good Job JamJar!

Pretend It's Not There!

Pretty good little horror game, creepy at moments, tried to befriend the monster, failed, liked the story and wanted to know more, overall, good experience.

Good Job  Dreadloom!

Apartment 57!

In essence, it has good meat and bones, had fun playing it but could use somethings to make it a better experience.

Got me with a few scares, little extra happening to spook it up would be nice, a sprint option would be great since the door numbers are just in whatever order they want to be so you go a lot of slowish walking... and if you go for the second ending.. be prepared to walk even more, through the whole game again, just small things

Overall, had fun playing it, it had pretty good story for the build up and poor life choice of the main character, not a bad little horror game.

Good Job Infinity Entertainment

Subdue!

Another interesting game by Apish Box Games!

The set up, disturbing, had me questioning what was going on, reading the notes and lore, can tell there is more then what it seems

Got me with a pretty good scare, loved the twist and the build up.

Awesome job Niven!

Ptolomaea!

Always enjoy ToothAndClaw's style with their games.

These old pixel retro looking horror games always hit me in a different way and this one did well to play on those feeling.

Over all, was pretty creepy, got me with a few scares, enjoy the look of it, easy/simple to play through, was interested in the bits you read as you go.

Interesting and fun play, good job Tooth And Claw!

And will always consume the bad flesh!

Niven drops a game? Got to play it because I know its going to be fun!

Silence!

You go and investigate your old school when you received a letter about your missing, old journal of yours being there, only to relive a nightmare!

Pretty good game, had some creepy atmosphere, story was interesting and had a twist, easy to progress, hit me with some scares and both endings are easy to get.

Good Job Niven! Looking forward to your next crafted horror!

Her Apartment!

Pretty cool horror game, you play as someone who is watching your elderly neighbor's apartment.

They have a cat that is cute af.

It was a fun play, story was interesting with the board posts and some jokes tossed in.

You will probably yell "Call For Help or Cops" at some point haha

Had some creepy moments, definitely if intruder horror is something that get to you.

Had fun, kinda creepy, enjoyed reading the posts, overall pretty good.

Well Done AtmoPixel

Don't Stay Awake!

Kinda a silly short Holiday horror but had fun with it

Pretty much, your a dumb kid, trying to stay up to see Santa

You do tasks, hid and watch

Wasn't too bad, had some scares and weirdness to it, had some panic pressure events

Usually not a big fan of the style of how it ended but no spoilers

But over all, not bad, had fun and hit me with some scares

Good Job GabrielIndjldc

Pretty fun little "Emergency Instructions" horror game.

Starting to enjoy playing these type of game

Pretty short but did well creeping me out, definitely since the the main character is very battery conscious and refuses to use it outside certain rooms. The sounds and ambience was pretty good, got to me well! Overall, had fun playing and messing around. The house is very familiar and been traumatized by it before so haha! It had that going on for me as well.

Good Job Serious Daniel!

Played the demo and now played the full game!

And just as I expected, the dev overloaded my senses, had me paranoid of my surroundings and generally made me uncomfortable and I loved it!

It's interesting, its a test, click things, listen to things, answer things, but the sounds, images and such, disturbing but great.

Not too many horror games and devs can strike paranoia and human fear nerves with a sledgehammer like Wiseman does but when I see them drop something, got to play it!

Great Job!

LiDAR Exploration Program! Simply, you got around, map the area to see it with your lidar scanner, filing in the world with dots. You are given "targets" you need to find and spray with your laser dots.

Now, I played LiDAR.exe so when I saw this, I was excited to give it a shot. It is pretty creepy at times because you have to scan to see, expected the old "scan something there, scan its gone!" This is only the demo and see ways where this can becomes a terrifying experience.

But! I also found this game very chill, kind of in a powerwashing simulator kind of way, I loved exploring, using the scanner and trying to map out as much as I could and I can go either way, amped up spooky or enjoy a creepy but chill exploration game.

Great Job Ken Forest!

Looking forward to the full release!

Creature Packets!

A short horror game about combining the right amounts of "creatures" to make new ones and "send" them to whoever ordered them!

Game interesting and pretty easy to figure out. The creatures are adorable and would definitely release all the crabs into my work space! It's a little creepy but pretty chill.

Looking at picking up another shift but they never called me back.

Good Job Ken Forest! Always look forward to your games!

Forsaken! Another interesting by Niven!

In this game, you are trapped on an island as a ship pulls away and as you play through, you start finding out more about your situation.

Playing through was pretty fun, had me guessing and forming my own ideas of what was happening.

Gott a little lost with finding notes but if I actually followed the obvious path before me instead of running around, probably would have found them a bit quicker

The story break down, how it was presented, I enjoyed, showing the vents leading up to what you have become.

Got me a little bit here and there with some scares but did give me chills a few times!

Over all, had a good time playing!

Great Job Niven! (Apish Box Games)

I know I am a bit weird on your stats with that as I do sometimes actively search "backrooms games" so my eye would have be more drawn to it, does Itch.io have stats like that for devs? how many views, downloads and stuff? I am a simple horror enjoyer and have no idea what its like for the devs haha Do say, it was a fun game though! I had fun messing around and got scared a few times, hopefully it will get snagged back up with the spooky season!

I enjoy backroomsy things so, if i was scrolling through, I would have clicked it, knowing an idea of what I was getting into before reading what the game was about.
But that is just me, an enjoyer of backrooms types of games

These Heavenly Bodies!

Another interesting and I can see, disturbing to others, point and click horror game by Tooth And Claw.

Pretty short and easy to play.

I really enjoyed this, even as a low rez (made for Low Rez Jam 2024) it still can inspire weird feelings, unsettlingly and creepy.

Always have a love for this style and look.

Great Job Tooth And Claw!

Would Consume Flesh Again!

Old Roots! A pretty solid short horror game and it got me pretty good.

Has two endings, that I know of, got them both.

Turning OFF the lights is general a "no" from me in a horror game so starting off with that being the main task to do was a little unsettling.

Did keep an at a low grade chills most of the time

Overall, had a good time playing!

Great Job Ti-Nor!

The Friendly Intruder! Or The Friendly Host!

You invite someone into your home who is being stalked by possibly Andrew W.K. after they bang on your door,  you decide to leave this newcomer, who was being chased by a person dressed in white, in your house while you go grocery shopping, leaving them to there own devices while... the "killer" is... out there!?! Where did they go when you got home?????????? Did they just leave? Call the cops? Take an Uber? You'll have to play or watch to find out!

Okay... the story and pretty outlandish at points with regards to the "intruder" BUT! I loved it because of it!

I had a blast wondering what was going on and why my character had no sense of stranger danger!

Had some silly fun playing!

Some things could be cleaned up, like the store scene, knowing what exactly to do and dropping items into the abyss and chucking my lagasia against the wall but not a deal breaker, still had fun!

Figured out how to find 2 endings

Got me with a scare haha

Overall, had a good time

Great Job SquareDevv!

Bird Watch! You play as a wildlife biologist, who spends the day off from wildlife biologisting with wildlife to go back outdoors to see some flying wildlife!

Seems like a pretty chill, causal walking sim until night falls!

I had fun with it but had some rough parts but the game seemed aware of it.

It had some silliness that I liked, had a story to it what made me curious about where we were going with it because never played a "Bird watching horror" game

Got me pretty good with some sudden scares

I think I found all the birds? But definitely found both endings.

Though, at the time of playing this, so could have been fixed, it is super easy to fall into the backrooms and you have to restart from the beginning, dialogue seems to be on a timer so you seem to have to just trigger it and run to the next point so little annoying but easy to get back to where you are soooo... tip!

DO NOT CROUCH UNLESS YOU WANT TO FIND THE WORLD BEYOND THE WORLD OF CAUSAL BIRD WATCHING!

But over all, had a good time playing

Good Job Squaredevv!

Room Sweet Backroom is a search and collect style horror game set in the familiar? unfamiliar backrooms setting

You play as Toddy who fell through and now seemly "cleaning up" the backrooms by collecting trash and other things and putting them in the right spot while a angry ghost lady drifts at you.

It was fun, enjoyed playing.

Got me with a few scares, was not too hard to complete, got to chill with Art The Clown, over all had a good time.

Couldn't ride the the giant duck or take a blood bath but its fine haha

Great Job Escapebox!
