Indeed the theme did not grab us in a major way this time around. The theme seemed to lend itself to more of an endless gameplay style, and we just didn't like that limitation.
Thank you for playing - I believe a colorblind mode would be an excellent feature to add. Do you have any recommendations on making the game more accessible for folks with colorblindness?
Thank you for playing, and for such thoughtful feedback! You are correct that there is a bit of a disconnect between the aesthetic space and the frantic gameplay - thats why we felt it important to add zen mode, which I personally spend a lot of time in just grooooovin.
Solid concept and fun physics! I think an enhancement would be to have a different shape forbthe cursor, like a scoop or something, to really push what you can do with the physics.
The 2D + 3D grayscale graphics are really neat. That plus the camera angle gave this game a very stylish look - made it a bit hard for me to control, because that camera angle is not intuitive for me, but the novelty of it is worth the strangeness. Cool-looking game!
Neat submission! Relaxing and visually interesting. Perhaps some really juicy sound effects and music could really push the satisfaction factor. Congrats on getting submitted!
In general, your game will get more plays/ratings if folks can play it on your itch page in their browser. People are less likely to download/install an executable, etc.
This was really cute! One of my favorite features of the game - your slime trail covers the text in the intro rooms. I spent a nice amount of time "sliming" around on them.
Gorgeous artwork! I am terrible at these types of games, but I just love to look at them. Super satisfying feedback visuals - I only wish there were sound effects to add to the overall "juiciness" :)
Thanks for playing! I appreciate the comment on difficulty. I am considering making the smaller platforms less common at lower heights. Do you think that help?
