I see, I'm not familiar with RPG maker, nor with the concept of pattern tables, so I'm not sure.
But it seems some people have made plugins for RPGM MZ to allow for the use of bitmap fonts.
I found these 2:
https://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?threads/eli-bitmap-font-use-bitmap-font...
https://decinbr.itch.io/bitmap-font-plugin-for-rpg-maker-mz-easy-to-use
With these you might have to use the sprite atlas (image containing all characters, included in the download folder)
Hi, thank you for liking and wanting to use my fonts! :)
Unfortunately windows only accpets truetype fonts.
Truetype font (.ttf) files basically contain vectors of the outline of each character, and therefore only do solid color fonts. They don't support fonts with different tones/colors.
The angelcode format (.fnt) files are bitmap fonts, meaning they contain the raster image of all characters. They can be used with many game engines and libraries.
Depending on what you want to use them for, I might be able to help.
As far as I know there is no straight forward way to do it, but you could probably do something similar to what I did to get them into Unity.
Basically:
I don't actually know, but I think there should be a way to make that work.
Here's a link to a thread where people were suggesting a similar process.
Here's a link to a video tutorial for the same process in Unity. (This is how I created the Unity assets for these fonts)
Please let me know how it goes, and if you do use these fonts and get them to work please share the Unreal assets. :D
O wow, thank you!!!
We're aware of the blocks sometimes not destroying next to the player, but we weren't aware of a room where you get teleported back out as you enter (we had something similar in testing but thought we fixed it) Do you by any chance remember where that was so that we can fix it after the jam?
Either way, thanks a lot for the feedback and for playing, we appreciate it!!
Edit: Oh I think we found it, a short bit after the first upgrade... can't believe we missed that haha.
Thank youu!!! For playing, for the kind words, and for the detailed feedback!
We agree about more puzzles using other types of mechanics/interactions rather than just shooting from a different place. Hopefully we'll be able to add more some time after the jam. :)
Also that is an incredibly accurate bug report haha, many people noticed sometimes jumps don't work but this is the first time someone narrows it down so much. :)
We've noticed too, we'll fix it after the jam hopefully~
Woah!! Easily a 5-5-5 for me. During working on our game we had recurring disagreements about mixels so when we saw the title me and another team member had to play this.
Super smart concept, brilliantly executed! Stunning visuals, great sounds, enjoyably difficult levels, lovely game!! Congrats and I hope this is chosen amongst the winners!!
This is so unique and pretty and atmospheric. I had to restart the gaem once (because I forgot the melody to teleport back home to campfire), but I kept playing and I think I got to the end?
I solved the puzzle at the far left that let me go down to a room with a big pool and a picture of fish on white bg.
Awesome entry, loved it.
I hope more people play this game!! :D
