That's a nice little game.

For future carts, it seems like a batteryless FRAM save would be better than SRAM save with a battery. Batteries don't last.

for Steamdeck should I use the windows version? Or the Linux version?

I only played a little but I think the game is pretty clever. However, in level 2 it should say "try leading the dinosaur away" not "try learning the dinosaur away".

I really enjoyed the game! I discovered it here but I bought it on Steam to play on my Steamdeck and it ran great. It's just so much easier to discover cool little games here at itch than it is on Steam.

I got it running on Steamdeck! It was pretty easy to set up. I have it run on “proton experimental”. Plays great!

I actually think I prefer this game to Castlevania. I love the level design! Music and sound effects are great too. Works great with my 8bitdo controller.

Is it not supposed to make a sound when you do most things, like use your weapon or jump? It feels strange not to get audio cues for things.

This game is absolutely fantastic. I would absolutely LOVE to see more from you! If you make another Playdate adventure it's an instabuy for me.
