It’s crazy what you achieved with so little pixels. Really well done, the writing was also very sharp and witty.

That was a bit hard, but I do really like the concept. Maybe you could have crystals regenerate over time. And also going through walls and dashing flung me off the screen and then I was a bit lost. But dug the reverse pac-man loop and the squishing sound was very satisfying

My nostalgia for old school flash games was on full blast playing this game. My favourite part was how they would run away after being scared, awesome job on the animations there.

A fun concept, and thought the monster design was really well done. Would have liked to see some more animations from him though. Like a jumping animation or scare animation. But the core of the game was cool and I liked the race against time / puzzle find all the scare spots aspect. And you did a great job on the sound effects. Other people did mention but the jump is a bit floaty.

The combo attack was sick, think it’s a concept that has a lot of potential to build more on and I thought the aesthetic was cool. Those damn birds were tough to hit though LoL. Good job!

Such a huge seafood buffet, an all you can eat buffet. Well done on all the different fish and was really cool to see how my fish evolves

RELEASE THE KRAKEN!! Awesome job on the tentacles and how they grow as you grow larger and larger. I certainly was the monster. Those boats never stood a chance

Why could I taste that orange juice!! Really fun take on the theme. Reminded me of those Flash games from back in the day, but in a good way

This is PEAK! It’s just oozing with polish and juice. Short simple and sweet. It’s just tops on all levels

Sadly I can only play browser games so I can’t play your game. The art looks AMAZING! Wow just wow! Best of luck with the jam was good to see all the positive comments you were getting :D

Oh no didn’t think of CTRL + W closing the browser. Will remember that for future, thanks so much. And also thanks for playing my game and taking the time to review it. I realized too close to the deadline that I created that view cone bug, so I just had the character respawn instead of having the level restart. Would have been too frustrating to play if you had to restart unfairly like that. Sadly I can only play browser games and your game’s art style is giving me very How to train your dragon vibes from what I can see.

Very interesting concept, didn’t really know what to do. But I was a monster munching machine

Well that was unexpected in the best way!! Really good job on the controls and movement and overall package of the game. I got a bit lost after finding the key, found it before the boss door. But all in all really cool. Having the choice of charged up shots or machine gun style quick shots was fun.

That really means so much! The Weeping angels from Dr.Who were actually the inspiration for the concept. I was thinking it would be cool to play as one of the angels

Yeah sadly I tried to give each enemy a dynamic view cone size and only realized too late that there is a bug somewhere in the code that resizes it :( But still thanks so much for taking the time to play my game and give feedback. Really wish I could play your game the premise is so unique and reading the comments is giving me full on #fomo. But I can sadly only play browser games :(

Please also link your video once done, would like to see your thoughts

Thanks for taking the time to play my jam entry. And pointing out the spacebar spamming hitch. Sadly I can only play browser based games so won’t be able to play your game in return. The screenshots look cool and I’m glad to see in the comments people are enjoying your game :D

Hey the project isn’t fully done but wanted to upload it so long so I can just update it before the deadline. The space bar action turns you into a statue so the enemy can’t “see” you. I have more levels and ( hopefully ) audio still to come

Straight to the top of my wish list! Will be buying soon, haven’t been as excited about a pack in ages. Amazing work!!

Don’t worry about that, you take care of you first. But not going to lie excited to see the new stuff! Watching this pack grow has been such a awesome journey

Hey love these little slime guys and they are the first enemy I’m implementing to my game. I see a “Ranged Attack” animation, but no “bullet” for lack of a better word? I might have just missed it

That “launched across the map” bug is something I introduced in the last minutes of the jam pushing to get more things into the game. Had a really cool idea for a tutorial but time got the best of me, lessons learn there.. Thanks for taking time to play my game and write this review :D

You get quite caught up in the hunt, especially when you hear the timer for the round coming to an end and you want to try and nab a few more prey. Really dug the maze vibe, it felt endless almost as if it was generating as I was moving. Wall jumping was also really cool and adding to the hunting feeling.

Such a cool and unique concept, very distinct aesthetic as well. Had to give it a few tries before getting that goose though. But worth it :D Really solid and complete game jam entry

Some of the best music I’ve heard in the jam, think some movement in the background would really give it a flying through space feel. And the switching from the “top down view” to the “side view” was pretty cool.

There is so much polish and attention to the finer details plus the concept is really cool as well. Had me second guessing myself in the best way. The tutorial is also really smart and not going to lie I might be “borrowing” the scoring system for a future jam. You know it’s a great game when you’re sad it’s finished, the extra game mode gave replaying it a bit of extra edge. Great work!!

Really liked the idea and your take on the theme, struggled to find clues though. But caught the guy in the end. Had a good hunch! Could be a really fun game to build into a bigger project. So much you can do with it.

Birdserk is such a perfect title. Game starts off like yeah okay then goes into full ALL YEAH mode!! Really fun especially once you get the flow of movement down.

It is a bit much and that’s with all the things that were cut. Lessons learned there, thank you for taking the time to play my game and give your feedback

Thanks for trying out my lil game and for your feedback :)

Thanks for taking the time to play my game, and it did end up getting a bit convoluted sadly. The main idea is that you sniff then chose a target ( clicking the sniff button again increases the range ) and then you can stalk/hunt down the prey and consume it. I created that “thrown out of bounds” bug from pushing in last minute changes before deadline, lesson learnt there. And thanks also for your feedback :)

“the demon hunting you, the banks hunting for quota, treasure hunting for ores and the century gem”

That’s actually so next level!!

This is why I love game jams! Short and sweet in a way but still packing so so much. Loved the eyes on the Nano Nano and on other things. Only negative is the auto jumping out of the ship, but that’s a minor issue. Really great work

I like the game, but it does not like me LoL! Such a complete game jam entry really really well done. At first I didn’t see how it related to the theme but then I clicked it. The hunting for the exit is such a cool idea and the hitting the ground and looking for the shockwave changes is an awesome idea.

Nice effect with the flash light and not sure if it was intentional but the slow camera makes you very nervous to just run in blind. The wolves killed me super quick the first time when I wasn’t prepared. Some audio would really make the game pop

Very on theme and a fun little experience. Wish there was more though. Liked the animation of the guy chasing the deer
