On computer thereshouldn’t be any problems if you uninstall the game, because it will keep a copy of the saves in a separate location.
But if you want to be extra safe you can go to the folder where the game’s installed, follow the path
"CorruptedKingdoms-0.X.X-pc\game\saves"and make a backup of the contents of the saves folder.
If you’re using the launcher, you can get to said folder easier by clicking the gear icon, then “Manage”, followed by “Open Folder in Explorer”
Well, that’s why in the sequels we might have to go somewhere else.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone else is experience the same way as I am on this game. Whenever I press the start button it sends me back to my home screen, I tried again cause maybe it's just a bug but it did the same when I press start, so I redownload it and I still have the same problem. Does anyone know how to fix it?
(I'm using android btw)
I love the fact that you just casually added in elements from the VNs/Games "Love at first tail" and "School Of Love: Clubs", I absolutely love those games. Oh to remember those confusing halls of SOL: Clubs. Also the pats are a reference to "Love at first tail"? Haven't gotten too far in yet, but I defo love it so far, especially for adding elements from those two games. It is also a coincidence that I did play those two games before playing this...
Yeah, I guess so. However especially for the college, they probably deliberately not only named some of the characters after SOL: Clubs (IIRC: Emma, Veronica), but also put the badges on their uniforms are identical to that in SOL: Clubs. There was an eerie deja vu when I saw the badges and I was like... ? I've seen this somewhere before...
Although I do understand that they might've just reused the stuff from SOL: Clubs. xD. I certainly have seen multiple VNs use the same backdrops and settings as others.
Someone already covered the vague idea of it. But just to nail some points.
A lot of adult games use the same“engine” for visuals, named Koikatsu.Some I can name from the top of my head include but are not limited to:
- Hero’s Harem Guild
- Champion of Realms
- Goddesses’ Whim
- Lessons in Love
Haven’t played any of them, but I see them mentioned often. And they seem to have a relatively large following.
But yeah, there are plenty of assets that are potentially going to be reused unless the devs took their time to make their own 3d assets for clothing, environments, etc.
Also I might add that CK started development in June 2019. The itch.io version was first uploaded on the second anniversary.
Make what you will with that info.
I have actually played all of the aformentioned games, and yes, they reuse a lot of assests, sometimes to the point of madness. I will say the one best at adaptong assests in their own style is probably Goddesses' Whim, but each one in their own way makes the locations unique and feel lively which I can always appreciate
Itch updated it's uploader, so older versions uploaded via Butler won't update on the Launcher properly. You need to delete the game and reinstall it and it'll work fine from then on.
If you're on Android, make sure to backup your saves! If you're on Windows, Linux or Mac then you don't need to worry - the saves will be automatically transferred for you.

I'm afraid not. In order to compile an iOS file I need to be on a Macintosh computer - you can't do it on a normal PC - and the process is highly involved, unreliable and breaks Apple ToS.
Also, Altstore is complicated for anyone not versed in software to setup and costs $99 a year, which means the number of users downloading the IPK would beminiscule. Even the standard MacOS version of CK, which runs on Apple computers, accounts for less than 5% of overall downloads. Sadly, it's just not worth the time and expense for a solo dev. :/
I was summoned for jury duty, EEK! Pixie saved the day by saying I was urgently needed at the council and couldn't be on the jury as a result. It made the council meeting REALLY awkward with "Pixie, why is this human here??" the very first thing said, but outside of a couple of the members checking me out, nothing else of note happened. I gave Pixie a big thing of ice cream as a thank you for getting me out of jury duty! Now, if I only paid attention to who was checking me out at the council meeting....
Relating to CK, I really can't believe you are doing this solo, it's such an awesome game!
This happens if you use the Itch Launcher because of the way Itch has adjusted their upload process. Unfortunately the only way to solve it is to either manually install the game and ignore the Launcher or else reinstall.
You won't lose your saves, though! If you're on PC, Mac or Linux then you can uninstall and reinstall and your saves will be preserved. If you're on Android then you will need to backup your saves first, which can be found in:
Android/data/com.domain.corruptedkingdoms/files/saves
NOTE: If you're running Android 11+ then Google has hidden your data folder. To access it you need to connect your phone to your PC with a USB cable or use a third-party app like Solid Explorer or X-Plore to give you access to the folder again.
Just found this game about a week ago and definitely enjoying it. My real world work may have suffered a little as a result of it XD. Stayed up two nights in a row because I got hooked and couldn't sleep lol. Keep up the good work and, please don't wait too long to give us some hope for Kana! (in game hope, I know you won't be taking the best waifu away from people, it would be game sepeku) I can only see Lil'Kana cry so many times before I'm going to need counseling q.q
Hi, update and game is great, but the character profiles all say "Finish the storyline, storyline under development" or something like that even though I am still progressing through the character stories and have more content instead of telling me what to actually do. Also, Lyx's cottage is just straight up not appearing as a conquerable location.
I can't think of any Main Girl in Act Three whose personal story you progress, with thepossible exception of Kana but you're not really progressing her story until and unless she wakes up. Some of the girls have events and content, but the HINTS section is for actual love level progression, not for side events.
If Lyx's cottage isn't showing up then you're running an unofficial version of the game or someone has been editing variables in your save file or you're not going to the cottage and summoning Jessica, which is what you have to do for all conquerable locations.
Older saves won't work unless the issue is that someone has been tampering with your save file. You're either running an out-of-date version (you can only conquer the Cottage in v0.21.3) in which case you should update, or you need to completely re-download the game from an official source and not install any translations, modifications or patches.
