It's possible that this may be a download issue.
Something to try: restore the previous version, verify that it works, then attempt to save over the file with the new update.
Please let us know if this resolves the issue you're having. I am not well versed in APK files, and even less knowledgeable in regards to troubleshooting problems with Tablets.
The only way I can do that is go all the way back to you old old artwork file for wolfstar and I don't know about House of beef and I don't even know if that will work and I'm really sad that it's just having to do this because I hope fix a glitch a while back and wanted to know what all happened after it's been a while sorry for improper English my Google speech to text Goes Goofy a lot

It's unfortunate, but this maybe a situation that cannot be resolved. The version of Renpy that I use to code is likely not caught up with the life cycle of apps and computer systems. There are some things you can still try:

Hi, apologies if this isn't the right place to ask this. But I tried downloading the newest update, but it wouldn't download. Whenever I tried it would give me this error message.
I really enjoy your games, but if this issue of not being able to download the game persists, I'll most likely have to stop playing and delete the game entirely. Which is something I strongly don't want to do.
Is there anything you can suggest that can help?

Hey Wolf star I have a question I know you technically updated s i n s and Paradise but I just wanted to double check something to you put the fix in for hypers picture showing up for is this the man you love in the Wonderland m azè and I do have a question for this one as well is there really only one or two love interest for this one because I love the main character but I don't get it falls in love a random bear just my opinion I know don't get me wrong I still love this one too

This situation seems quite odd to us as well. By all accounts, the app should still function as normal. It may have something to do with our recent update of renpy's keys. As a possible solution, have you already attempted to remove the older version and re-download the current package once more?
Hey wolf star long time no talk I just had a weird feeling about another visual novel you work on I know I put this there but hard to go searching for it s i n s and Paradise I was starting to question if you're ever going to go back to it it's fine if you don't and just really like Wolf star and hyper which by the way I'm still surprised when you going to the maze portion of the story to get into Wonderland their prison that doesn't show the picture of hyper on his phone when asking is this the man you love

What is the solution to this problem?
Hi, apologies if this has already been asked, but the android apk file for the game won't download. It keep rejecting it stating that it is "not compatible woth your device". I've tried everything I can think of but it still won't download the new update for the game. Despite it having never been an issue before. Was curious if there's a solution or way to download the new update without issues of such.
Hi, thanks for the reply back and I really appreciate it. Unfortunately that's not the issue it seems, it doesn't acept it despite working with every update until this one. This version and the latest in your other game WSAP both have the same issue of it rejecting the .apk file stating "App not installed as it is not compatible with your device". Despite it being the device I've always used without issues, an S21 Ultra+.

I tried downloading it 2 times, and the last moment when you download it to your phone, just stay there (chrome download) and don't disconnect from the internet and wait.

"You can still download it via the ITCH website. (Take the url from the bar in the itch client and access the itch page of this game in your browser."

Can do, and im definitely willing to go that route.
the only issue with that however is that id have to start a new game from scratch. Downloading from the website vs the app, has the issue of saves not carrying over. the app creates a file specific for those saves, but ive never figured out how to take the new update from the website and force the itch.io app to use the new update.
for now, ill download anyhow off the website, but please do let me know if you discover a way to resolve the issue with the App and this most recent update.
The game can't be updated automatically because the platforms are not set for each file. That's something the developers have to do for each new version.
the platforms for the *-pc.zip file are windows and linux, android for the apk file and apple for the -mac.zip file.
Meanwhile, to transfer your saves from the old to the new version, you can copy thegame\saves folder into the new version folder.
I really enjoyed this story, well I was enjoying it until all of a sudden it just stops and the credits appear on screen, and not just stops but stops in a weird place, I understand you haven't finished it yet but it was just a shock to all of a sudden end at that point in the story. I hope the rest comes out soon
Good news, it's likely not your phone that's the issue. For many devices, the limit on apk sizes is 2GB; our game is just too big to run on the phone. We've explored and trimmed the file size in the latest build to under 2GB on Patreon this month (version 66). We'll see how it runs and hopefully get good feedback. Sorry for the inconvenience.
