My highest score is 13. Would be nice if there were some kind of tutorial teaching the mechanic instead of my trial and error. But it is still a fun little game.

I agree - I made this forLOW REZ JAM 2019 with limited time, so I did not get a chance to add many "quality of life" features.

I plan to update this for maximum user-friendliness in the near future :)

75! That's impressive! Mine is 17 right now, but I'm sure I can take advantage of those boosted jumps and get higher ;) Great job on this game, love the art and the gameplay idea is super cool

I'm having a hard time figuring out the controls...

is it just releasing space that launches? The character rarely goes high enough to even reach the first platform.

Yep, just releasing the space bar. Timing is key for landing the jumps. Thanks for trying it out!

In the video you posted, you are hitting your head on the platform above you. You'll need to jump from the side so you can get on top of the platform. Thanks for the video, that was helpful to see what was going on!

Aha! I guess I thought the player could jump through the platforms. Good to know.

Yeah, the controls and mechanics took a while before I got used to it.
