A surprisingly good visual novel. Nice work. Hope your affairs are in order and the writing process is smooth.
I think my only complaints are regarding some of the word choice... "going ham" for instance....yes I can tell this was written by a zoomer. You could of used going wild, crazy, all out, I dunno, the english lexicon is huge, instances where you use very modern grammar is just... it takes me out of the world and reminds me this is a furry novel....
Ah well, could be worse, you didn't have a character saying lol at least...
hmmmmmmm, im pretty sure i heard artemi and cole's themes before. some chinese and japanese songs respectively if im not wrong. im SUPER curious as how shirokoi got the rights to use them. And also i wanna know WHERE those specific versions of the songs came from, i REALLY want to download them to my phone's music list, they soound soooooo good!
I never get so worked up in a visual novel (furry ones, at least) before. This is just a pure masterpiece. Sure, the story is linear with little nsfw scenes, but it's nothing compared to the amazingly written story! The jokes are right on spot and all those emotional build ups are heavenly, not to mention the characters' character developments as well. This is obviously placed on my all time favorite vn list!
(Kinda hoping this would someday be adapted into a full-length animated series too tbh, it's just that good)
The problem is likely on your end since no one else had that issue that I can see of.
Make sure you have the correct game version for your operating system. Make sure you open it in 32 or 64 bit system depending on your specs again. If needed, run the app as administrator. If you still have problems try creating an exception for the game on your anti virus (sometimes the anti virus programs love to whack safe apps. 99.999% sure there are no viruses in this download. you may have to restart your computer or download the whole game over again if your AV irreparably damaged the game. Just make sure to turn off your AV while it downloads, make the exception ((restart if needed to take effect)), and turn your AV back on so you dont forget after youre done reading).
Renpy also uses graphics, game/mouse/keyboard and sound/voice drivers. Try restarting/updating your drivers on your device manager. They tend to break or need an update to run newer apps sometimes.
If none of these solutions work then IDK what could be wrong. These are the usual problems people have when using Renpy.
So far i really enjoyed the game. The characters are really well made. There is a lot of character growth especially with Cole. The story in this fantasy medieval era is amazing. that Visual Novel and the other one you and your team are working on, repeat, are amazing. Im just in love with your work
Welp, she's there for a reason. Personally, I don't mind her not getting any. I think she's gonna be that one person who supports the team wholeheartedly and doesn't pay much mind of the romantic relationship happening as long as they're still on good terms and teamwork. Knowing that Arty is kinda fond of those "literatures" in the guild's library, she will come to an understanding and greater interest, probably. Fujoshi, that's what she's becoming to xixixi.
Nevertheless, let's just see what plans our creator has for her. Cheers!

A bit gay but still great XD. I do like how you draw the characters, the personality also fits properly (man, I could say it has the vibe of an anime series)
I'm not seeing any other moves yet like story track shifts aside from narration but it's still quite nice to see how you make each chapter neat.
A bit surprised by how artemi changed within three days, maybe the change was too fast? Her usual meekness is totally gone when the third day struck

Extreme circumstances often have extreme results. Artemi was incredibly sheltered , full of self-doubts because being the creator was the only thing she really had going for her. Suddenly meeting two people who don't shower her with praise just for being the creator's chosen, and them appreciating Artemi for who she is would change her quite quickly. They found her lightning magic pretty awesome, whereas before, her lightning magic was a source of doubt for her (since the other chosen ones weren't tempest mages).
