Liked the idea, but the game was pretty hard to play. I somehow got past the lava pool one time but I couldn't replicate that again after a few tries. Nice aesthetics btw, loved the graphics!
The idea is cool but the surprisingly low gravity (is hell located on the moon ?) makes things really difficult. I could pass the first level
Really well presented game! great arty style and great use of physics, loved the concept and impressed with the execution! great work!
Creative implementation of the theme, the Sysyphus myth goes well with joined together.
The level design is clever and explores the main mechanics well.
Physics were a bit janky (especially the gravity for the player character) making it harder to control than I was expecting.
Great looking game. Felt it could have done with a bit more control and it was odd that my player remained suspended in air and didn't fall to the ground at points. But fun!
Good concept guys but please change the restart key I pressed it accidentally ^^! which was a little frustrating but overall good game :D
Hehe- pretty charming :D
I liked the mechanic and thought the presentation was good.
The physics were a bit janky, but I always felt in enough control. Alas, I think I need checkpoints to be able to actually get to the end- I had a few shots (including one where I just automatically pressed space to try and jump; mebe ‘r’ next time? :P), but I didn’t leave resentful.
Good fun :D
Really great idea! I would have never thought of sisyfaux. For me it had somehow the charm of the old lucasarts games and really enjoyed playing the game.
Good job!
Hey, nice submission! I think the restart button could be use a less common key (I pressed it once by mistake, trying to jump hah). Congrats, it's a good job!
Nice job on the jam. Few notes, a full reset is a bit punishing considering how long it takes to push the boulder up the hill. Letting the player have some fun with the physics might be a more engaging start to the game, or at least a shorter hill.
Love the concept and the name! I think the gameplay is pretty cool as well. Maneuvering while attached to a giant boulder can be fun at times. It's a bit buggy when the player starts running ahead and pulling the boulder (I was flying through the air at times), but overall I had fun! Great work :)
Cool idea! I think the switches need some kind of feedback as to what they do and when they are activated, I had no idea what to do, but I love the retro vibe, feels like something out of Sega Genesis
Interesting take on the Greek myth of Sisyphus!
The music and art are nice on their own, but together I feel like they got across the wrong kind of atmosphere. The art says Castlevania, darkness, underworld. While the music says arcade fun.
The core mechanic was nice too, though the player gravity is wayyyy too low. There was sections where I was flying in their air for easily 10 seconds, just trying to push the boulder.
Not a bad entry at all, was a fun, engaging few minutes. Getting the boulder over the ramp was VERY satisfying.
I was invested, though maybe not having the most fun, but got my run ended when I fell down somewhere and was unable to progress. There need to be some sort of checkpoints, and the snapping back to the rock needs to go as well.
