How does your game fit the theme?
The player can't control how much time spend in the level since the dungeon is collapsing behind them. Also, whenever the player gets hit by and enemy, the player's a and d keys are swapped. A goes to the right, and D goes to the left.

Good job on the knight sprite I like the design and attack animation! I didn't know I could attack until I read some of the comments, something showing the controls at the beginning would be great. I think you could make the spikes a bit more noticeable so they definitely look like hazards - Well done!
Fun little game, I liked the pixel art and enjoyed discovering the mechanics as I encountered new things...the flipped controls...the scary black curtain...etc...
Nice job
I love the art style. Game is very challenging but fun. Hope this gets developed and polished further after the rating is over.
This was fun and challenging - I kept getting caught up at that point in the short corridor where you can't pass the guard until he comes out of the corridor for a short distance, very tough! A fun idea though, and it was fun having to adapt to the keys changing when I was hit
Super cool pixel art! The character feels really bad to move some times, especially with some of the precision platforming sections. The orange platforms would also be good if you could jump from beneath them too. Overall good game.
Thank you so much for taking the time to give some feedback! I will try and fix any input related problems when I upload the post jam version. Do you think you could just explain a little more on what you mean the characters feels bad to move sometimes? Just an example maybe? Either way, thank you so much for giving me feedback. Good luck with your submission!
Your art is really good! I think some spooky dungeon music or intense chase music would help with the atmosphere. The character doesn't respond immediately to inputs, making the game feel a little floaty. I will not surrender to the pursuing black void!
Thank you so much for the feedback! I was trying to improve on my art, so hearing that my art looks great is very inspiring to me. I will also look on your suggestion for music, as I have gotten that suggestion a few times now! I will also respond to the input, especially the jump! Thanks so much for the feedback! Good luck with your game!
Fun little game, took my a while, but I finaly fled from that hellhole of a dungeon.
Your art is well done, some animations have a bit of a clunky feel tho.
Fun expierence overall, congrats :)
Enjoyed it a lot! I think a simple background music track would have gone a lot way for the impending doom atmosphere, but overall (once I figured out the feel of the game) I had fun with it. Getting hit by the enemies is disorienting and I think you could play with that idea more and make something really cool. Plus, I loved the art style.
Good job!
Thanks for the nice comments and feedback! :) I was just wondering, could you explain what you mean by disorienting? I think you mean that when the player gets hit by the enemies, the movement is flipped. I totally understand if that’s disorienting. If that’s not the case, then please explain what you mean. Maybe a piece of text that says “Movement Flipped”? Either way, I can’t thank you enough for the kind words and feedback! Good Luck with your entry!
Yeah I meant flipping the movement - and I meant disorienting in a good way! It makes you think about your combat rather than just swinging wildly and I like that. If you were to go on with this idea, I think you could expand that and make different types of disorientation, and I really like that the enemies right now are a serious hindrance rather than just a nuisance.
