Suggestion BoxSticky

It would be cool if in the future you can add some armours too as you get your shop and business bigger

Pretty please add in support to invert the look controls, I want to play this game so bad but I cannot adjust and end up stairing at the floor/ ceiling!

Hi Lollerlance! Invert mouse options are coming in the next patch, along with many other bug fixes. Happy Smithing!

Maybe you can eventually add armor crafting

Delivery boxes that have smaller items like say 6 one-handed grips, should be small enough to place on the shelf before you open it, it would save alot of time and hastle

oh man yeah I got so used to dragging around tons of grips that I never even thought about asking for that xD

* order
* drag inside
* destroy
* drag, drag, drag, drag .... xD

Hey! I just played the new version of the game and loved it! Nice work on it! What I'd love to see next is equip-able weapons, and maybe an armour crafting mechanic. I'd also like to see events, like festivals, or attacks and any other cool things that you can think of. Other then that I love the game, you've done a really good job on it!

Thanks!

Well this actually is the first version that theoretically HAS the equip function, it just needs a bit more love :D

Armor I THINK I have seen suggested somewhere and it will come :)

And yeah events and attacks are planned, check some of the later updates on trello, either 0.0.8 or 0.0.9

maybe the ability to choose more FOV iv never made a game so dont know if its hard or anytng please inform me

Hey Jonsccraft,

I did have the thought of putting it in the other day. So you might see it show up in a update soon.

Thanx for the suggestion!

an xbox controller compatiability , i dont know how to pick up with the controller

i think its one of the triggers

just a thought Pull, or/and ax Bearded ax? also a screenshot feature would be cool.

if you run it via steam you can do screenshots

can i use an xbox one controller to play this? i do not have a mouse and hate using the keybaord controls

i haven't tried it but as i know you can also use a xbox controller via steam so this should work in a certain way.

but steam doesn't have this game, this game is extremly good with a mouse, something i don't have

yeah thats right but you can add also games to steam which are not in the shop

how...

bc i want this game to work the best I can make it work

I really think that this game is really good! I think you should add a multiplayer option for people to play together. Customers should come in a lot faster and less time to give the customers their desired item

Hi (just saying I cant Spell well) I think you could add armor crafting to the game.

by the way grate game

armor crafting would add another element to the game.

how about making handles and other wooden parts out of lumber, like hitting firewood with an axe turns it into an untreated 2-handed handle, then hitting it agin would make 2 untreated one-handed handle, and then you put them into the forge to treat them for weapon making.

How about a bulk order list that turns up every now and then from weapon stores elsewhere? So you'd get a list that you need to fill the needs of by a certain day. Put all the items you crafted for it in a shipping crate and you get a bonus if you managed to get all the items in it on time (it then gets taken away). That way you not only have to deal with customers, but also try to fulfill orders outside of working hours so that there's less making stockpiles for keeps.

I have a couple suggestions.

Weapons

Mace - 1 ingot blunt weapon with 1 hand grip (the dagger of the hammer family)

Crates

It would be great if the crates had a lid that could be closed, that way if one is picked up with items inside (i use one of mine to hold 1h grips in the store) the contents dont explode everywhere

Deliveries

Orders of more than 10 would be amazing, would save much back and forth work to bring quantities of grips and guards into the store

Shop

Add another torch to the right side of the bench, to make it easier to see when assembling at night (currently only a small portion stays bright enough to see metal on the blue of the bench)

Just wanted to say that as a blacksmith I love this game, only greivance is the use of water instead of oil.

Could add a mechanic where water is less effective with higher tier metals, and you gotta buy oil?

That being said if you ever want any tips to make it more immersive im here for ya!

pls game creator, MAKE THIS GAME BE FOR MAC! PLS! IM NOT GONNA GET A WINDOWS SOON SO PLS MAKE THIS GAME FOR MAC! YOU CAN LEAVE THE WINDOWS VERSIONS DOWNLOADABLE BUT PLS MAKE A MAC VERSION ALSO PLS!

Hi Thor30056! I understand your frustration, but currently the developer does not have a Mac on which to build, so don't expect a Mac version to be released anytime soon. There's a discussionHERE about some possible workarounds in the meantime from other users with Macs. You can also add your vote for a Mac version on the MLBS Trello pageHERE. Thanks!

Hi Dasius!

This game is just the best! Playing hours and hours :D. I don't know about others but it would be cool if the customer was able to order multiple items and multiple amounts of the same item too like 10 hand swords in 6 minutes or something like that.

hi I just started to play my little blacksmith shop and I have had a problem with the weapons glitch into the table when I put them together, and I have tried to reload the games.

Hi BOBTHEKILLER! Items snap together on the workbench in the orientation of the part you're holding. So if you're holding a grip and it's pointed down toward the table, the blade will be wedged in the table when they snap together. When an item gets stuck in the workbench, follow these steps to unstick it:

  1. Grab and hold the item with the Right Mouse Button (RMB)
  2. Continue holding the RMB and Press Alt (or Alt+Ctrl) and move the mouse around to rotate the item.
  3. While still holding Alt (or Alt+Ctrl) release the RMB - The item should remain in your grasp in the orientation you rotated it to
  4. At this point you can drop the item by releasing Alt (or Alt+Ctrl) or grab the item again with RMB

Hope this helps, and Happy Smithing!

thanks that helped very much!!

The gameplay is great but it takes a long time to get tin ingots

I read that you increased the cost of ingots. I have just got the game and I'm on day 8, I am still on the copper ingots as I am struggling to make much money. I was wondering if I'm doing something wrong or if something should be changed to make it a tiny bit quicker. I also read that you are supposed to get a lot of money if you give them the item quickly, if I give it to them instantly I still only get a max of 3 extra money.

Be aware that there is a bug where sometimes you dont get paid for the ingot used in an item. Check the price of every sale... and for the time being do what i do, save after every good sale and alt+F4 if you get a bad sale and reload the game.

This could be the reason you dont seem to be making profit to advance. It only takes 1 or 2 bad sales per day to kill all profit.

Hi imperialfish! The ingot pricing is much steeper in the latest version. The profit you make on items you sell is a relatively small percentage markup from the cost, but as you get into the higher tiers, you will make more money. The developer knows that everyone has a different pace they'd like the game to play at. Some people thought the previous version was too easy (you'd usually be done by day 10-15 with no reason to keep making more money other than having a big number). Don't expect this pricing scheme to be set in stone, though, we're still in Alpha. Also, Dasius has been working on the idea of having the pricing tied to a difficulty setting so that players can enjoy the game at their own pace, but that's not implemented yet. Hope you're still enjoying the game even with the increased difficulty and Happy Smithing!

Wow, thanks for the quick reply! I agree that the old prices seem to make the game too easy, I was just recommending to the creator that it has been made a tad too steep. I feel like I might be close to the 2nd ingot though!

I just got up from copper ore to the next tier, made a great sword out of it, and didn't get paid anything for the ore. So back to square one.
