Elevator Hitch is amazing, the characters have amazing depth while the gaming experience is enjoying and leads me to reinstall it every while. I'm so thrilled that Elevator Hitch has a fandom, if it didn't I'd be deprived of content

Is anyone else having trouble with this game? The warning and control instructions are zoomed in, the text box and background is bugging in and out, and nothing happens after I click on the first dialogue choice. Is it just my computer or something? I've tried closing in and out of the game and uninstalled it and redownloading it multiple times.

Okay. I think it might be my computer. I'm using an old(ish?) Dell laptop my friend gave me. I think it can't handle the game. That's unfortunate.

I loved it! This might be the first time I have no criticism for a game because this was seriously so good, quick, easy, and fun!!

Played this on stream yesterday, I was already a big fan of dead plate for a while and this game is a masterpiece. Ending 1 and Ending 12 were def my favs. I love the unique and Interesting lore and the unexpected things that happen. Amazing game loved it sm xx!!

I'm so sad, it won't start up on my mac. I've deleted it and redownloaded it countless times. I can pess start games but nothing happens except the icon on the bottom of my screen :( 

I hope maybe someone could help me!

No, no, spit your shit! I genuinely love the idea of schizophrenic Protag. I think the 'monsters' (I think it's phrased that way?I haven't played this game in a while) are in reference to his parents/mom rather than hallucinations or delusions, but honestly? Since I haven't seen anything confirmed yet, I'm clinging to that schizophrenia (or Psychosis) headcanon.

I can't figure out how to move the camera up and down 😭😭😭😭😭

use your mouse! sometimes it helps clicking on the screen to help it move <3

also, you might want to use the arrow keys to switch the cameras if you need it

I'm very late so you've probably figured it out by now, but I also had trouble with this and turns out you can only move the camera when you're in the elevator and the green exit sign isn't in the bottom right-hand corner

really a good game!! but it'd be nice if it'd had a manual save or a skip button for the intro...

I love the characters and liked pretty much the rat scene!!

I've tried downloading it and playing it a lot of times, but whenever i get to the first playable scene, it doesnt let me interact with anything :( idk what to do anymore, can anyone help? any suggestions

Do the protag and coworker have names?

the coworker will give you random names via a dialogue choice, but there isn’t a like “canon” name for either character.

i first found this game around 2022 when it came out from some random fnf website during school and absouletly fell in love with it all the studio investigrave games ive played are so good i lvoe them all

cool game bro I saw someone play 10/10 I LOVE IT!!! and every other studio investigtrave! they are so creative!!! I have no hate about them! AMAZING GAMES!!! KEEP IT UP!!!! >,<

I loved the game and the artistic style so much. The fact that this has been made for a jam is incredible because the message about the toxic work culture is so deep. Anyways, I wish there was an option to start a new run even when you already started one because I don´t want to go throught the whole game again just to get to see a death I missed. But that putting that aside, this game is simply wonderful

art style isn't even good, quit the glazing, the gameplay is even worse. and forget about a "message" its an indie rpg, 50% of the time their fans rip a message and story out of nowhere

For those who don't understand how to move the camera: when you are in the elevator, exit the "point and click" mode (your screen will look like you are looking down the elevator) and click on the arrows. I rly love this game, its my first ig's game what i completed. protag lover number one/jokejokejoke!!!

Haven't you replied to almost every single post, hating on the game? Like I can understand some people might not like it, but man you're showing alot of commitment to hating this game. Edit: so I looked at you're account because I'm bored and do you actually have a job or joy in your life? Is there actually a single thing you find fun other than randomly hating other people and using the exact same insults? Dang bro please find a new hobby this looks super depressing.

while I’m willing to put in the effort to play this on my desktop…anyone else play this on the steam deck? I had very little issue playing Dead Plate on the deck but this game really seems to hate being on the deck. Any tips appreciated :O

after asking around, I found that using a compatibility tool called rpgmakermlinux-cicpoffs instead of proton made the game run much better on the steam deck! 

just forget about playing the game honestly.

if you check the reply I made to myself you can see I found a way to make the game run much more smoothly!

Sigh... going back to play this game once again /pos

0.01% of a playthrough is good enough to realize this game is bad, let alone 200% of one.

downloading and playing this game again cuz i love it so much!! love to rachel and the other devs!!
