Sorry for the rough start! Thanks for the feedback and bug report.

You have to pick up the pistol, it might be hard to see. Then you need to hold the RMB/right stick to aim and then LMB/right shoulder button to fire. Did it not work that way?

The start button I have to fix. It's because I wanted to prevent accidental resetting of the save file, but the first start being long is very unintuitive (especially since the sound is also still missing). Will fix that tomorrow!

Ok.. found the pistol, it was hard to see. I got a couple of upgrades but got stuck on the right hand side jumping part. Just didn't seem to be able to make some of those jumps. I'll check back later. Thanks!

I'm not sure which jumping part you mean, but you probably should keep your eyes open for the second gadget. That one should be easier to see ;)

I'll also add some highlighting to the items this week, should fix the confusion

I think I need a jetpack or something but can't find one. I really like the elastic mushroom mechanic :) Those little yellow insect things are kind of brutal - some rooms you can get swarmed. Will try and find a jetpack :)

Haha, I'm glad you like the mushrooms :)
There is a way to destroy the hives of those insects, if you haven't figured it out yet anyway. Should help with the numbers ;)
