I'm running into a bug where the game refuses to save during the "A New Day" chapter after meeting Lapo. The game then gets to the end of the "frolicking" scene with Alpheon and freezes after failing to autosave. The music keeps playing, but I can't select any of the options and I can't progress from that scene. I need to completely exit out of the game at that point - I tried reloading previous saves, but I keep running into the same bug.

Are you on the latest patch?

A couple more questions while I dig around the file: Did you accept Lapo's offer or not? Are in you in a romance with Alpheon or someone else? Did you already deal with the nightmares or is the farm issue the one you're tackling first?

(A possible workaround would be loading a savefile in the morning, before meeting Atri if it's your first day, and selecting 'I am relieved' when reflecting on the Refrain).

I'm playing blind, so some of these questions are a bit confusing. I'm a backer, so I downloaded the game from the linked Itch page last night (I'm not sure if there's been a patch since then). I agreed to bring Lapo a corpse (not sure if that's the offer), I don't know if I'm on a romance path yet, and I'm tackling the farm first.

I'm about to push a patch with some more fixes—if the workaround... works (pun of the century here), I should have already fixed the bug in a previous patch :)

I recommend using the itchio app to get the latest update. I did so much testing but I am one person, and there are so many little interactions between variables that some slipped through the cracks Q_Q

hey i have a problem with my game for some reason when i start the game it doesn't show the main menu, its just a black screen with that golden cursor and nothing else and was hoping for some help.
