So much fun! I’m always down for a good summer camp slasher and gay shit, so naturally this was my jam. Great use of classic teen horror tropes and a fun 80s aesthetic, some nice voice acting too. I did think the middle section felt a bit rushed and would’ve loved to see more loops, so I’m excited to hear there are plans to expand that part. Awesome job!
hello, I need some help. I’m stuck at the “unfreeze the meat somehow part” of the game, and I don’t know what to do. I tried walking around the map but it won’t let me do anything. Also SPAMMED the h3ll out of my mouse right click button in the kitchen but nothing is working. I tried to find a walk through vid but I guess no one made any, yet. Please help 🥲

So the steps for this one are pretty direct;
1. Interact with the microwave by walking up and pressing spacebar until it talks about needing to unthaw the meat.
2. Turn on the power outside by interacting with the power box (this is located right next to the front door of the cabin).
3. Go back inside and walk up to the microwave again and press spacebar or click where Theo is standing, not on the microwave to turn it on.

I’m still relatively lost, I did that but what now, the games gives no to little hints on what to do. Melody like talks about putting some things on the meat to make it good and that’s it and then the game throws you back into free play. I’m sorry for bothering so much, but I really wanna finish this game :(
I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me figure out a solution for this problem that I'm facing.
So basically, I've just started my playthrough and now I am at a point where I get to talk to the characters each for the first time. Unfortunately, it seems like my game kinda bugs out when I go upstairs and enter the room to try to talk to the chars there because they disappear all of a sudden and then it's possible for me to literally visit the entire map. Since there's no way for me to make any progress in the game at this point and there's not a single soul I can talk to (not even interact with objects) I'm assuming that I did some sort of mistake.
Both reinstalling the game and not loading save states at all (I think I wasn't in a loop at that point tbh but I simply never loaded at all to be sure) didn't solve this issue unfortunately.
With that being said, I'd really appreciate it if someone could tell me where I went wrong.
Aaa I'm so sorry you encountered such a broken bug! There's still a few bugs in the spooktober build as we didn't have time to iron them out.
If you have an issues with saves instead of reinstalling the game you can go into your "saves" file and delete all saves in there to reset the game.
To my knowledge the only game breaking bug is in loop 1, but in testing we never encountered it so what I'll do is dot point a route that should be 100% bug free.
Loop 1
- Once inside speak to Steve then Melody and go right upstairs. Avoid entering bathrooms or exploring in new instances (areas that require a transition to enter)
- Once upstairs go down the hallway and a small cutscene event should play and then interact with all the characters in any order.
- Once everyone is spoken to go back down the stairs and the game should progress as normal with no more game breaking bugs (again, avoid going into rooms you don't have to go in before you finish speaking to everyone and go downstairs)
If this doesn't work let me know exactly when the bug occurs and I'll work on a hot fix. We plan to properly go through and finish the game and iron out bugs soon, but in the meantime if you face any issues let us know and we'll try to guide you through them.

Luckily it worked now thanks to your help!
For some reason the cutscene in the hallway upstairs didn't trigger for me before but now that I followed the route it did!
This probably also the reason why everything got bugged for me, because it didn't trigger but I still entered the room where the characters where in.

Hello! The build is only for PCs, but other than that, it should run on any system.
If the download fails when you try to download directly from the website, it might be an issue with your internet or itch. If this is the case you should be able to simply re-try the download in your "download history" in your browser and it should continue where the download left off.
If this isn't the issue it might be a problem with your disk space. Check to see if you have enough space to download the game.
If none of this helps please elaborate on the download issue and I'll try my best to help you get the game good to go!
