Hellooo!! I’m curious, does anyone have a list of all the songs that are mentioned in the vn? The only one I know is “In the aeroplane over the sea” by Neutral Milk Hotel, I remember Runes route mentioning ichiko aoba which made me jump in joy ^^If anyone has a list of them I’d love to see it, I’m always looking for music whenever it comes to vns!

To get the Klaus route you have to go with Devon to find your lost keys. He'll give you a jacket so you can go outside to the forest and follow Klaus. After all of the craziness you just follow the Devon route except go to the cafeteria when he sets up the telescopes after the first day and you can choose to sleep in Klause's room. The path is really short, but Klaus is the best and so it's totally worth it.
I found a "fix" to the Halloween update for android users.
Delete the current dawn chorus version on your phone and reinstall the Rune update.
DISCLAIMER: 1 you will lose all your progress so only do this if you don't mind rereading the story.
2 if you also have the Dawn Chorus app in a secret folder it will refuse to update so delete it from there too
or you could just wait for the devs to release a proper fix.
not to mention the fact that I can only start new games from the update. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Is this a bug? Pls respond @DawnchorusHi! The Halloween special wasn't an update but a completely different version. It does not feature the content from the main game. You should re-download the main game.
Some of the readers reported that their phones won't let them reinstall the main game on Android. If that's the case for you, I'll be releasing a newer build as a fix to that once I'm back home in a few days!

Y'all the 25th anniversary remaster of American Football just came out,,,,, this game actually got me into american football now i have like 3000+ listens or something. just that lil mention in devons route and i was like "hey this sounds familiar/interesting" and now they're my favorite band i literally live in the midwest how have i never heard of them
ya im in michigan and like , that album is one of the very few musics that like . give the vibe of the midwest specially wurlitzer stay home and I'll see you. i dunno what it is about them but it captures like , here . also listen to out like a light 2 by the honeysticks it also got that vibe of like warm homey but fleeting memories , reminds of the warm pinkish orange of warm summer nights in the neighborhood
For sure. It's giving existential Autumn for me. Even in Utah where I currently reside like...the Autumn and the streets... the neighborhoods... the people and stuff really comes alive with this vibe. (just looked it up turns out that Utah isn't part of the Midwest... I thought it was. That's my bad... I'm almost to the Midwest...) but that just means we can be west/Midwest buddies!
Also... Out like a light two is soooooo gooooood. I love that song and the original version as well *High fives long distance.*
Во-первых, начнём с основ; Эта новелла - как глоток чистого горного воздуха с «Древесным привкусом» после жизни в душных городских джунглях: приятный главный герой, привлекательная и спокойная рисовка, история и персонажи греют и радуют душу (Особенно с новыми спрайтами), каждый персонаж ощущается как личность со своими проблемами, переживаниями и отношением к жизни. Авторы однозначно любят своих персонажей и свою работу, и это передаётся читателю. Среди сотен просмотренных мной новелл эта однозначно заслуживает первого места в топе. Да, кто-то скажет, что есть более длинные, красочные и привлекательные новеллы вроде: LYRE, Violet Memoir, Remember the flowers, Sylving, Socially Awkward, Far Beyond The World, Lust Shards, Echo и Т.д. Это однозначно хорошие новеллы, которые стоят внимания, но «DAWN CHORUS» воспринимается мной как что-то лёгкое, домашнее, тёплое, приятное и что-то личное… Ностальгическое. В этой работе я даже нашёл идеальный для себя рут, чего раньше не встречал.
P.S: Думаю, если авторы в будущем займутся новой однолинейной новеллой, то получится потрясающая работа.
Во-вторых, сами руты; Я не особый фанат чрезмерного чтива, после множества однообразных новелл хочется просто пролистывать нудятину и сразу переходить к “соку”, но как по мне… Это одна из тех новелл, где хочется жадно ловить каждое слово просто ради того, чтобы растянуть удовольствие и подольше побыть в игре, особенно в руте Девона. Не все руты могут быть привлекательны для вас, но их точно стоит пройти просто ради интереса, нового опыта или просто чтобы лучше узнать пушистиков и весело провести время. Здесь явно хватает колорита, и персонажи разнообразны: внешность, тип, поведение, история, восприятие, развитие отношений. Это однозначно приятно, здесь каждый найдёт что-то по “вкусу”, так что не стесняйтесь “попробовать” всех~
В-третьих, лично мой опыт; Завораживает… Девон - мой любимый персонаж, и он точно останется в моей памяти навсегда. С момента, как я впервые встретил эту игру, прошло ровно 3 года. Ожидание утомительно, но оно того стоит. Каждое продолжение его рута я жду с огромным нетерпением, попутно проходя в полной мере привлекательные для меня ветки «Второстепенных» историй. Сам Девон полюбился мне сразу, этот персонаж завораживает не столько внешностью (Хотя я не спорю, что это самый сексуальный кот из всех), сколько своей историей, поведением, любовью к простому и ностальгическому, опытом и развитием отношений. Такой человек действительно способен одной улыбкой превратить вас в “лужицу”. Это не что-то пошлое и легкодоступное, а действительно «Сердечные дела». Этот рут подойдёт тем, кто хочет просто погреться в лучах романтики и посмотреть на краснеющего от смущения здоровенного кота (Это действительно что-то). Очень легко проникнуться симпатией и влюбиться в приятного тебе человека за мгновение из-за пары слов, маленького поступка или события, хотя казалось, что он всегда был рядом, но ты просто не замечал и не осознавал его присутствие должным образом до этого момента. Это печалит из-за того, что мы теряем время впустую и не замечаем очевидного.
Я невероятно рад и доволен тем, что эта работа увидела свет. Однозначно рекомендую эту новеллу к ознакомлению.

Thats you, I feel as I get him fairly good, even tho me and him have many diffrences I still feel we have something in common, we both grew upp in the nordics and we both have had questions and dificulties with our own sexuality and gender, tho in gender wise we had diffrent roads I still feel myself in him, I had a long period where I could not fully openly be bisexual without being socialy ailenated or harrased by what was (some still are even) my friends, so I didnt, and he had to go through something similar with being trans.
We also have from what I can guess a similar view of our world and its injustices which brought him to Anarchism and me ti Communism, he must have seen something which made him question everything the same way I saw friends fall for crime or poor women and children freeze during winter while being called thiefs and savages for being Romani, or the climate crisis.
There must have been something w hich made that impact on him, what exactly isnt important.
He also took a intrest in learning more and increasing his knowlage about natural science or philosophy which I know many who did and I myself did something similar (but History, societal science and philosophy).
We do also have many diffrences which is mainly in stuff like music taste and clothing taste tho I feel as if that isnt the most "important" (everything is important about a person) part of him.
I also have a very good friend which is alot like him (and yet isnt).
so yes I personaly feel like I get him in a way.
also he just looks cute af and handsome which is probably also atleast 50% of why I like him as a character in Dawn Chorus.
I don't normally leave comments but i had to with this one. I absolutely adore this VN, i just found it 2 days ago and binged through everything. I originally came for the aesthetic because cozy winter is such a good vibe, but i stayed for the story.
Out of everyone Rune's route is my favorite, at first Rune had an air of unavailability, while he was nice to Arvo i felt like there was a barrier blocking them from truly connecting. Then after the events of day 3 everything shifted, they just naturally slots together like puzzle pieces after Rune finally chill out, they felt like a couple without being one and i think thats a testimate to how well everything was written.
Overall 10/10. Best VN i've ever played, am now a fan and will be eagerly awaiting every update.
