Description
Continuing on with the NES soundchip project and trying to work within those limited constraints. This one uses a swing tempo and has a routine alternate percussion on the noise channel that's designed to emulate the shovel and pickaxe actions. Went for a bit of a western ranch type feel with a sort of blues form.

Love how you can actually hear the shovel and pick, this is such a cool blues track! Honestly, listening to some of your work is what inspired me to try out chiptune, although I took one look at Deflemask tutorial and said nope! Vsts it is for me lol. Nice work!!
The western ranch vibe is captured perfectly, it's what I thought of immediately upon hearing the track! I like the timbres you went with in the instruments, and I think the shovel and pick are well emulated through your sound design!
agree with cloudydaymusic, the high pitched percussion is a nice touch! the bluesy composition definitely achieves that ranch energy you were going for.
Not to undercut the rest of the piece, but my favourite part of this is that high pitched pick axe noise. It's so perfect! Great job :)
