Description
My attempt to write a chiptune track since I love the sounds, and have been inspired to try my hand at it. This was made using FLstudio, NESvst and Magical8bit

Ok, it starts pretty rough I'd say, main synth just slams into ur head and starts running around the pan, however all the pieces fall in together pretty nicely. I guess I shouldnt expect much transitions from 8bit/chiptune type beat tracks anyways. verygj the track do be a vibe frfr
I love the panning you used here! and like how Cjee mentioned, the note control feels phenomenal! Based off the description, is this your first time making a chiptune track? and is there any chiptune in particular that inspired you to make a track? I think this turned out quite nicely!
Thanks! This is indeed my first time working on a chiptune track. tbh it was listening to Cjees tracks on the other Jams we joined that inspired me to try lol. Definitely a bit of a learning curve for me to navigate the sounds and composition because they can get kinda harsh together if you use too many notes. Thanks for listening to the track :)
I just realized I never ended up replying to this. I was going to say that I think it's amazing to see inspiration from the other jams here! It just makes me love these jams more than I already overwhelmingly do! It sounds like you enjoyed exploring chiptune, and I think I can sort of feel that in the music!
sort of reminds me of a mix of disasterpeace and ... well, something more 8bit. the terraria pic is fitting LOL (i like that little edit you made at the end of the vid). choice of two chords/melody do convey a similar kind of eery exploratory tone that you would want from a cave-type theme
Awesome, I love those note swells!! Nice control on the individual notes. It's really cool with the violin emulations and all the sliding notes! Just a lot of awesome things to praise here!
This nails the NES vibe for sure! It sounds like you're even limiting the number of simultaneous channels to those available to an NES, which goes a long way. Love that delayed arp!
