Description
A song about dwarves that are digging a hole... diggy diggy hole... diggy diggy hole I decided to experiment a bit with distortion and weird forms of compression with this mix. I'm honestly not too satisfied with how it turned out but I loved the concept so much that I thought I'd share it anyways. I may spend a little more time fixing the structure of the song if some people like the concept

Good god man, this is incredible I love it. What is the time sig at the start of the song? This song is 🤌🤌
it's a narrative structure-- i'm curious what specifically you weren't satisfied with? i like how it shifts through different moods as you progress, varying degrees of dark/brightness whether that be through the notes or the instruments -- that's why i say narrative. something necessary to describe something like a journey to the center of the earth, no? ALSO i like when music uses that metal clang type sound as a snare... reminds me of the FF7 soundfont...
I may have made a mistake with my wording haha! I completely forgot what structure meant in music, I think cohesiveness (?) may be a better word on what I mean, or specifically I found myself unsure where to go with the mixing and the balance (Especially with the 808s and kicks), and some of the composition I still want to adjust. But I wanted to invite discussion to it because I am unsure if I am just being overly critical on myself or if anything could be improved. I am glad you like how it progresses though and I appreciate the insights on why, and I am glad you like the metal sound too, I really need to play the original FF7 I can't believe I haven't gotten to it yet. Thanks for listening!
