man or women I'm proud of you......putting your game aside you've used that I'm not able to the one and only "GIMP"
5 starts
Whenever I opened GIMP I just pass out..
Great concept (even though I took more time than I wish to admit to use the fast forward)
A few criticisms I have are that the music gets old after a while and the fact you control your shield with your mouse makes it a bit inaccurate at times.
But the presentation is great, I like the synthwave aesthetic !
Great job !
Very nice and well polished, I did find it a bit difficult at times to block attacks because the shield was positioned based on mouse to player position but that is probably just me being garbage. The hits felt weighty and the knock-back from the spikes was really nice. If the game had more levels I might have said the shield could do with being a bit bigger but other than that very cool game.
As for the web build I think you have to tick a box saying that it's a web build because right now its here as a downloadable.
P.S. that is too many cookies
It was really cool! Your game was perfectally in theme of the challenge! I also like how you use the colors palette!
Good job!
A great game ! I like your interpretation of the theme"Future", it was smart. It reminded me the famous game Simon, but applying it to a top-down game make it so much more interesting ! The graphics are just awesome, but I'm not sure you strictly comply with the colour palette. I had a few frustrating experiences with the arrows that would not disappear right after being blocked, and also the shield that rotate while i'm moving since it's difficult to move the mouse in perfect coordination.
Great experience, honestly my preferred game of the jam so far !
