Did you work in a team?
No, i was working alone. It was a wonderful journey, i learned a lot about myself, and gamedev :)
Was the resolution a challenge?
Everything was a challenge, this is my second finished game ever.
What did you learn?
I've learned that a lot of things can be possible if you set the scope of the project as best as you can, A good game mechanic can work in any environment, the resolution doesn't matter.

A bit simple, but interesting concept. Exploring, getting new weapons, and fighting different enemies was pretty fun.
Some of the art did look sloppy to me with the thick black outlines, and the animation was a bit stiff.
Movement and combat did also feel a bit clunky to me.
This game really manages to make you want to explore it all. Love the way the music adapts when you change room. It's a bit confusing that you have to keep moving towards an object to loot it. But you have a nice variety of weapons, the machine gun was fun tho a bit overpowered. Congrats on your second finished game!
Neat little game. It's fun exploring around trying to find new items. There's a decent variety of enemies, though it's a little disappointing you only encounter once at a time. It would've been cool to fight multiple, though obviously that would require some rebalancing. The variety of rooms and lootable items is nice. I like the way the music changes between rooms too.
Really like the music, and how it fluctuated a little between rooms. I'm not normally a score-attack kind-a guy, but it really works here, and the variety in what could be in a given room only drove me to explore more. Same thing with the different enemies, looks like smartmagpie said they preferred the Mushroom -> not me, I liked getting the laser eye.
Over all, great work, a blast to play!
(I'll probably hit it up again. It also feels like something you could keep adding to, something special about your color choices, and the tilework feels otherworldly)
Mushroom it's only enemy that give up easy. Others pick up a fight )
2100 points my hi score. Though 2000 gave me looting , not fighting)))
Congratulations on making this game !
I've played your game during a live that you can watch here :

I hope the feedback and live reactions will be useful. Keep it up !
my score \o/
I was so upset I picked up the crossbow after the gun and thought Id lost it forever, I found a new one though straight after ^^ great game! :)
An interesting game. I liked how weird it was. The color palette is also good. It may be worth reducing the size of the colliders of the player and enemies.
Great game! I like the music a lot! And the effect when you kill enemies! I struggled a bit with the controls but that's on me because my keyboard does not have dedicated arrow keys hahahaha. Good job!
This is quite a fun game. It feels pretty satisfying to attack and weave around enemies and the enemy death animation helps make the game more engaging however sometimes it seems like an enemy hits me out of nowhere - the game could benefited from having the size of their hitboxes reduced or maybe having the telegraph their attacks
Excellent effort from a first time game jammer!! The music and how it integrates with gameplay is particularly well thought out
