Very cool. Feels like a well polished game.
I appreciate the in-game tutorial.

It felt very hectic at first, even after slowing down time to a 6s tic (so many interactions and flashing icons). Not sure if that was the intended experience, but a pause button would be most welcome.

And the sound design is very good!

Pause button sounds like a brilliant and so simple idea. But somehow I haven't thought of it before you mentioned it :D

This is top tier. Highly engaging and polished.

Impressive time management game. Nice game feel. Core game loop felt good. I always felt a little time pressure. The upgrades felt good and well needed.

Nicely polished, complete game. Great entry!

Although I was wowed by the opening UI design and the evident polish of the game, in the opening stages ofFarmingo, I found myself coming in with a critical attitude. Did have to go through the opening tutorial twice to get a hang of the mechanics, and wished the instructions would have been spaced out in between player inputs to ensure they were following along correctly (particularly couldn't figure out you could get rid of the grass by clicking it multiple times with the hoe).

I think in the opening stanza, I must've muttered to myself, "oh, aStardew clone," and this unreasonably raised my expectations (well,Stardew Valley is aHarvest Moon clone, so we're all getting our ideas from somewhere ;) ).

Found the game to be quite grindey at the beginning, and wasn't quite sure what the in-game metric (money) was good for. However, when the upgrade system kicked in, and looped back to making the mechanics less cumbersome + more empowering to the player, this is where this game really kicked off for me. I found myself getting sucked into racing to hoe the field to plant, water, and harvest the next wave of seeds, and using the money made to advance my farming ability. I ultimately ended up playing the game for as long as it would let me. A strong progression system can make all the difference.

The charming pixel art, music, and UI were cherries to a farmhouse apple pie. This was a fun little game, and I appreciated that it did lead to a win condition instead of continuing endlessly, which considering how the game suddenly hooks you, could have definitely occurred for many players.

An ultra-impressive solo effort, as always from this developer.

Thank you for the feedback!

Just an insanely polished entry, I couldn't be more impressed! From beginning to end the polish is crazy. Even noticing the tutorial bird's text has a bird sound effect, just so much love put into this. I had a blast playing it.

You really nailed the time management aspect of these games. I felt like it was totally up to me as to how much anxiety I was willing to take on. How many spaces I freed up and how I managed my seeds. I completely lost myself in the game and I can't remember the last time that happened. My girlfriend leaned over asked me to do something and I said "not till night time" thinking she would understand any of that.

I need to go back now and just play all your stuff, I feel so inspired to step out of my own sort of character based wheel house. Congratulations! I sincerely hope you get first!

Thank you for the kind words. That means a lot to me!

super polished and nice intro! I went for try harding was quite stressful at some point. very nice enjoyed it. Good job!

Thanks! Cheers!

Classic but really complete, feature-rich. Well polished, I didn't encounter any bug. The opening is great but a bit false. Indeed, the game is in 2D and not 3D.  Good job!

Well done! Really polished and complete.  I like the variable price of crops mechanic, it makes you think a lot about what to buy.

This is really well polished, great effort!

Super polished, no so chill when you tryhard xD

Don't know what to say other than "well done". Classic idea but very well executed !

Thank you!

Amazing game, honestly super impressive it was done in only in 9 days. Even though the music is very chill, the game play is very intense and I really like how adjustable the difficulty is. Rage farming is a really cool concept imo, Good job!

Thanks for playing.

Yes, it's very hard to select proper genre category for this game :)

The opening cutscene was very cool, and I love the tutorial. Great game, took some time to learn the mechanics.

Thank you!

Nice submission! This game was hectic at moments, and required paying attention to a number of controls, buttons, and instructions. I had fun playing it once I got the hang of it, though. Really enjoyed the music as well.
