Very cool concept, and I love the gameboy looks and feels!
It feels a bit weird bumping into the ceiling in an open space, and also I couldn't kill the final boss as much as I shot him.
Great game! I loved all the different perspective and game genre changes, felt like a nice homage to the gameboy era. Art and sound were amazing as well of course. My only complaint is that the collision on the ceiling during the platforming section felt a little bit off, I couldn't quite jump over the goblin but I managed to get past them.
I love this game! The story is great, I really enjoyed going on a quest to obtain butter! The gameplay overall was very enjoyable and smooth. Stomping on the goblins Mario-style was very fun, and fit the game quite well! The artstyle is great as well, I really like how you've limited yourself to only 4 colours. The game is really polished and fun to play, the cutscenes were a really nice touch. This game was really good. Well done!
Audio and visuals were great, loved the retro vibe. I couldn't beat the final goblin, must have hit him 100 times or more... but he has no health bar. Without knowing if my hits are effective, I'm inclined to give up. So definitely add a health bar in the future. One other minor change to make it slightly more playable overall - a tiny smidge of coyote time! Even something like a quarter of a second of coyote time would have prevented some frustration in the forest. Overall, this is very well done for only 3 days.
The OG pokemon vibes were real! I enjoyed the game until I got stuck on the final farm goblin. No matter how many times I hit it, didn't seem to have any effect. Couple of control suggestions are 1). The roof was a bit low during platforming, so you could complete a jump when you were high. 2). I think giving the player a little bit of horizontal movement during the farm running scene would go a long way. Anyway, good job!
This has very strong classic gameboy vibes and is overall very clean in presentation. I like it!
Holy crap this is awesome! So much nostalgia, it brings me back. The game play is great but even if it wasnt just the art style and perfect 8 bit sfx were enough to bring me in. So glad i played this one. Gonna go play OG pokemon red now.
This is really good, and the art is fantastic, even more so considering you say you're new to it. I didn't experience any bugs with the boss and managed to complete the game fine, and I had fun doing so! Great work.
Nostalgic visual and audio! Can't beat the boss tho.
Overall, a solid minigame with clear gameplay and good story.
Good game, I like the Gameboy art style and the music and sound effects fit. Well done.
With those graphic I thought this shall be another classic-Pokemon clone. But I was wrong. This game has its own gameplay that was so good, and storytelling was so hilarious. I like it so much.
Cute game with pixel art but something seems of when you're jumping from high to low platforms.
