How does the game fit the theme?
Your a square with a jetpack in the sky and dodging missiles at the same time. Nothing can go wrong if you are careful but only if you're careful or the rng saves you
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Most code and most assets we made during the jam except for one animation spritesheet which was downloaded from an asset pack. There was a previously very ealry built prototype that was example of the player's movement and that was it. Most code was made during the jam.

Pretty good game - had fun playing! Was suprised with amount of rockets to kill you :)
Would be great to have more visual feedback when rocket hits you - at first I wasn't sure if I'm hit or not and had to search if there were any hp points
Really cool game, but I think the pacing could be improved, we start the game with literally nothing going on, and then a ton of rockets start appearing. It would be better if there were less rockets flying, but each doing more impact, also would be nice if the amount of rockets increased gradually.
Would love to see a more fine tuned version post jam :D
Polished game but too simple. I had fun at first dodging and managing my character, but it felt repetitive waves later. Hit sound is lost when reaching the stage with curve trajectory rockets.
Still, visual is a great plus! Love the cloud effect which adds depth to the game.
I actually like the spinning parallax, it's pretty cool. I feel like as it currently stands, the break time is not needed, and getting hit is not a huge consequence. A bit more fine tuned character control and doubling down on the bullet hell aspect could make this game super cool
Nice job!
I wish it was a bit harder, as I quickly reached a point where could reasonably kill me, so I tapped out at 500 points and 147 lives. The game was simple and east to play, though I'm not sure how well it fits with the theme outside of the low difficulty.
Thanks for the review! I had originally implemented a hp limit but I removed it since I thought it was too hard, increasing the limit just didn't cross my mind, as for the theme there was going to be a "world health" mechanic where the more you die the less it got but didn't know how to implement and it got scrapped. I am working on a better update that follows the og idea. Hope you enjoy the game either way
Very fun little arcade game, it's simple and yet quite challenging and hard to master.
I love the look of the game, the hand drawn artstyle really adds to the overall hectic feeling of the game.
And I gotta give extra props for your impeccable UI design, it's really smooth and animated.
Overall great job!
It is a nice idea to mix Flappy Bird with Bullet Hell mechanics! Had fun playing it.
Fun game, suddenly a lot of things came and killed me out of the blue
