IlPremio Orwell (Orwell Prize) è unpremio letterario assegnato alle migliori opere trattanti temi politici[1].
Istituito nel 1994 dal giornaleThe Political Quarterly, dallaOrwell Trust[2] e dal filosofo politicoBernard Crick[3], è suddiviso in 4 categorie e assegna ad ogni vincitore un premio di 3000 sterline[4].
La cerimonia di premiazione si svolge ogni 25 giugno, data di nascita dello scrittoreGeorge Orwell al quale il premio è dedicato[5].
