Fu proprio per Scott che nel 2023 realizzò, insieme aJanty Yates, i costumi per il filmNapoleon,[2][3] che gli valsero la sua prima candidatura all'Oscar ai migliori costumi,[4] nonché la vittoria delSatellite Award e candidature aiBAFTA[5] e alCritics' Choice Awards nella medesima categoria. Aveva già vinto unSaturn Award nel 2022 come costumista diThe Batman.[6]
