Guðrún Kristín Magnúsdóttir

Guðrún Kristín Magnúsdóttir, born 27 September 1939, is an Icelandic author, researcher and artist. Author of more than 130 books, 600 educational videos on youtube and founder of the Óðsmál research project.  The  Óðsmál research is on the theosophy and allegory in the ancient Old-Norse culture. The Icelandic Ministry of Education, Science and Culture and Hagthenkir, The Association of Educational Writers in Iceland, funded the Óðsmál series. Guðrún completed The Commercial College in Iceland in 1962, and graduated from The Icelandic Art Academy in 1973. She studied pedagogy at the University of Iceland, and followed distant education at Maharishi University of Management in Science of Consciousness, and in Physics.  Her passion is etymology, in order to regain the original meaning of names and terms, and decipher the allegory hidden under the surface.
