Ravens

I suddenly realized that by 3067, the year in which the game takes place, the Clan Smoke Jaguars had been destroyed. Oops.

We voted on Discord, and the community decided that they should be replaced by the Snow Ravens.

Ravens are now in the game as a major faction. Jaguars will return later as antagonists and pirates.

Trial of Position

You can now join clans. They won't accept you right away, though. First, you'll have to earn 20 reputation points (help them with 4 contracts) and earn 600 renown (win six 100 pv battles or their equivalent).

After that, find a clan representative and talk to them about joining.

Next, you will have to challenge them for the Trial of Position. Then everything will start spinning, you will see for yourself. But get a good mech, you will fight in the Circle of Equals.

After passing the Trial, you will be able to use the services of the Clan quartermasters, who will give you access to totem mechs of the Clan.

Arena

In the category “feature that no one will be interested in, but I spent a lot of time on it” - Arena.

The arena is open and operational. After paying the entry fee, you can participate in ranked battles. Come with a lance worth 200 points, otherwise it will be difficult, all enemy pilots have 3+ skill.

I built the arena using the Steiner arena map on Solaris as an example. The walls are randomly moved in and out at the beginning of the game. Should work, but keep an eye on full and half-cover walls.

After finishing the first battle, you will be asked to choose a sponsor. Choose according to your taste, each one will give you some bonuses later.

Before the second battle, you will have to participate in a detective investigation to find out who sabotaged your mechs (or, if your sponsors are bandits, they will do everything for you). Write your feedback on whether it was too difficult to solve the mystery.

For now, you can fight two teams and reach the 4th place. Your feedback will determine whether you are interested in such story quests at all, or if you would prefer to simply engage in a series of consecutive battles without this nonsense.
