Dynamite Entertainment made two announcements ahead of ComicsPRO: They are collecting their Paizo
Pathfindercomics in an omnibus edition and offering
The Boys Bloody Blind Bags, each one containing three key issues of the series by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, which will mark its 20th anniversary in 2026.
Dynamite began publishing comics based on Paizo’s
Pathfinder RPG in 2012 (see “
‘Pathfinder’ Comics”), and the first series was written by Jim Zub, with art by Andrew Huerta. The omnibus will collect that first series and more, with
Pathfinder (2012) #1-12, the 2014 special, and
Pathfinder: Goblins #1-5 (see “
‘Pathfinder Goblins’ Get Their Own Comic Book Series”), by Charles Soule, Ron Marz, Adam Warren, Erik Mona, F. Wesley Schneider, James L. Sutter, Crystal Frasier, Ray Fawkes, Carlos Gomez, Sean Izaakse, Craig Rousseau, Jeremy Holt, Eric Trautmann, Paul Allor, and others. Bonus materials include a short story and RPG materials. The 560-page paperback omnibus will have an MSRP of $39.99.
The Boys Bloody Blind Bags are timed for April, when the final season of the Prime Video series winds up. Each bag contain three limited-edition variants taken at random from the following list:
- The Boys #1, featuring the first appearances of Billy Butcher, Wee Hughie, and A-Train.
- The Boys #2, with the first appearances of Frenchie, The Female, and Mother's Milk.
- The Boys #3, with the first appearances of Homelander, Starlight, Black Noir, and Queen Maeve.
- The Boys #4, with the first appearance of The Deep, full team appearance of The Seven, and Teenage Kix.
- The Boys #7, the first Dynamite issue, featuring the first appearances of Stormfront, The Legend, and more.
- The Boys #52, with the first appearance of Soldier Boy.
- The Boys #65, featuring the death of Homelander and the origin of Black Noir.
Dynamite reprinted its paperback omnibi of the series last year, as a new season is starting and their stock was tied up in the Diamond Comic Distributors bankruptcy case (see “Dynamite Reprints ‘The Boys’ Omnibi”). A new reprint run will arrive in stores in April.
